« on: February 02, 2006, 15:38 »
The last week I have had a canstock download every day.  I usually go for 2 weeks without a download... is this a sign of better times I wonder??

Adobe Stock / February Upload Program

Wow... great new news for Fotolia.. Looks like the upload program worked... and they are continuing on in a way.

Here is a quote I got from Fotolia

"The January upload program has been a great success, tens of thousands of dollars are currently under distribution to the all photographer s who have participated in the program.

Since so many people asked that we continue on, we are happy to announce an even better February Upload Program. However, it will only run until February 28th and not a day more.

So hurry up and upload those images today.
Beginning February 1, 2006 Fotolia will pay 0.20 credits for EVERY image uploaded and accepted by our editing team. No thresholds, and a simple calculation: 1 accepted picture in Febuary = 0.20 credits for the photographer. As with the January Upload Program you must keep your images online for a minimum of 12 months.[More info]

It is our sincere hope that this will provide motivation to upload your images in bulk (even the smallest portfolios). The more quality and quantity photos you have on Fotolia now means more sales for you later.

Good luck and Happy uploading! "

wow, a new speedy site, and promises of exciting news.. i wonder what is in store.
here is a quote from the Shutterstock admins.

"Once again my programmers have exceeded my expectations.

We arent going to give away any secrets on how its done but go to http://www.shutterstock.com and try a few searches.. Move from page to page We pushed our lightning fast search algorithm live a few days ago and sales are skyrocketing as a result.

Buyers are downloading more and more of your photos at super-fast speeds and yesterday was our largest payout day in ShutterStock history. We keep the site simple and without distraction. The only thing we want buyers to do at ShutterStock is download your images and they are doing so at an unprecedented rate.

Week after week we reach record payout days and continue to exceed our goals for selling your photos.

We dont plan to stop anytime soon. In fact, within the next few weeks we will be releasing our most exciting news yet.

Stay Tuned!

Shutterstock by far is the best for me.  They have the best $/picture/year and accept the most images.
