I login in with my istock user name and password. It didn't work. Wondering why?

Cleared up?

What did you use to upload?

Via browser or FTP?

All images turned out blank with the words "Image being generated" on them.

It has been going on for days.

Time to move on.

Filling Fotolia categories are getting to be time-consuming.

To start with the categories offered are not comprehensive and there are limited choices to select from.

From istock August Bug Reports:

"Reports of some contributors having difficulty uploading via the site and via DeepMeta. Some uploading with DeepMeta report an issue with duplicate uploads being created."

I managed to upload 300 photos in the past 3 days almost having to keep PC on for 48 hours for snail-pace uploading happening at the background.

iStockPhoto.com / Uploading by DeepMeta not working?
« on: August 25, 2014, 08:31 »
Since yesterday uploading by DeepMetade to istock does not seem to be working well.

It is very slow and I get 2 or 3 of the same files appearing when I check istock. Going through the process of deleting the extra files is another pain.

Veer / Re: Upload has been disabled in Veer?
« on: July 17, 2014, 11:25 »
All is well with my upload in Veer. Just been told my account has been included on a fast track program. Meaning, any image that I submit that does not include individuals or require a property release will be given a priority ranking and immediately go live on the site.

Perhaps I should explain further that whether by FTP or Web Upload at the last stage after the files get into Veer when I hit Submit Files the files just disappear without appearing in "Pending".

Not had this problem - best contact them?

By which method do you do your upload?

Veer / Upload has been disabled in Veer?
« on: July 08, 2014, 21:41 »
For the past two months I've noticed that whether by using upload by browser or FTP all my submitted files will disappear after I press submit. They don't appear in Pending.

It seems like such a waste of time.

I think it maybe my desktop. It works with laptop. Probably needs a system re-install to flush out the bug.

Thanks.

It still gives me error:

"the underlying connection was closed. Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel."

Is Deepmeta not working?

It is not importing keywords and I can add keywords with it.

Dreamstime.com / Can't withdraw money from DT
« on: September 17, 2013, 01:25 »
I coundn't withdraw money form DT today. I did it twice nothing happened. The old amount was still the same there and I received no email notification.

Is it a holidays in the states?  :D

I have already deactivated most of the "bad" images that I have uploaded.....

Good move.

If we start to dump everything to a site it would degrade our collection and our brand as we have our names on every photo. There is little point to have our bad photos competing with our good photos. The time uploading them is better served in producing new photos.

PhotoDune / Photodune payout among the slowest?
« on: May 31, 2013, 08:51 »
I'm amazed by the Dreamtime's payout speed today. It's 6 hours interval between payment request and the money going into paypal. Dreamtime has always been the faster paymaster in microstock.

I think Photodune should be among the slowest one. It takes a month for them to process the payment. And another interval before the money actually going into paypal. A month is a long time in microstock. :)

BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!

all i can say ... I TOLD YOU SO ... many yrs i told you so, been banned for telling the truth ... and now your microstock hero Yuri gives up micros and jumps ship on macro RF/RM as he finally realized he couldnt even pay the bills selling 0.5$ subs !

You're dead right!

With the end of microstock hopefully we could transfer all our files to macrostock where a file will sell for $200 or more.

 :)

44
how about selling them for $1 (and probably closer to an average of $20 per PAYG sale)....one million times? ^ that argument is so silly and old....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yuri has all your answers.  :D

We have found a good distribution partner (Getty Images) for the kind of content we produce. We will be removing all images from microstock doing the next few weeks. Microstock, especially subscription sites, are not suited for the kind of high production cost images we produce.

At last the common sense of not flying a group of gorgeous models to an exotic island staying in a 4 stars hotel and sell the photos for $1 has prevailed.

This is going to be good for stock photography as a whole.

Has anyone done the time calculation given that the upload process is so tedious, can you actually upload 999 images per week?

We'll let you by the end of first week of Upload Liberation.

Anyone knows whether the Upload Liberation is going to be eternal? If it is so we don't have to lose sleep uploading like crazy.  ;D

Looks like The Independent Forces are gearing up to win the war.
