My application was submitted yesterday, just wondering how long it takes before you know anything? A couple days?? A couple of weeks?

It's worth having a couple of books around, for reference ! The number of times I've reached over and grabbed one off the shelf !!?  Scott's CS4 book is crap, unless u have bridge and know nothing about ACR that is !? Normally his books are great though. CS4 in easy steps is a good reference book, but there are dozens !

I've got to admit...ever though I don't like rejections...I think it is a good sign this site may really take off with time simply because they aren't taking a bunch of snap shots, but taking good stock, unlike alot of these new stock sites. With decent stock it will attract more buyers when they start pushing for the customer side of it. I really think that was a smart move on their part. What better way to get the good inventory but to pay for it upfront???
If they accepted ALL, I'd be worried !

It's great to have it in your signature. However, if you just got approved by DP and have a new referral number, how else will anyone know you have it unless you are replying to someone's post or starting one of your own? No one will really see it unless you "pimp" it at least once. I'm waiting on mine, too.

Thanks all.
My pics didn't show up - so trying to error check... I realized that I didn't even have Depositphotos set up in my FTP software so I couldn't have even uploaded the files to their site.... more checking... i uploaded the files to mostphotos .. ddahhhhhhhhh...
mostphotos = depositphotos ... details details.  I'm not one for details.

Yes there are some other topics about them. They also have a good affiliate and referral program. I just received my first payout last Friday with $134.25. Easy upload and low amount of rejection.

Hi Stu
For the last couple of weeks when using the Alamy uploader I get a warning message saying some uploads could be problematic as they are changing the system slightly.
"You may experience occasional problems whilst using this service. Please accept our apologies. We are currently testing an alternative solution."
If it does crash out half way through, just click upload again or retry and it will keep on going.

Last job of the day for me, I set it going very late at night, and never have a problem with batches of 25 or so. I'd try uploading at different times to see if it helps.
