it is a dumb idea because no one reads the description when making a decision to purchase an image.
it might not be a big deal for people with small portfolios, but when you have 60,000 photos it is a big deal when you have to go back and retitle 10,000 photos just to comply with a requirement that has no effect on sales.
I have had to do this for bigstock and all it does it lead to stupid titles. "smiling young girl" becomes "smiling young girl with long hair" which has no impact on someone's desire to buy the image. it is just a waste of time.
these companies should be making it easier for people to contribute, not harder.
to say you like this idea is just stupid. why shouldn't someone have the right to make a title with 4 words? seriously you think it is a great idea to force everyone else to increase their title length, when they can do it voluntarily anyway? you are opposed to 4 word titles for other contributors?
are u saying they are Insisting u re-title 10,000 + images that u already have with them ?? Surely not !?

Probably their orientation is stored in EXIF incorrectly.
Try resaving them in Photoshop or other editor.
Very strange ! they show correctly in LR and File Explorer, but rotated in your app !? On inspecting Exif data, it seems your app is correct !! I re-exported said files from LR and all is well ;-)

Just noticed some of my jpgs are being uploaded on their sides (rotated 90) and being rejected by some agencies ! They show in SS with reversed dimensions !? (when I hover over them) But show correctly in LR ! Any idea why this is ? tia

turn down the brightness of your screen !! It's probably way too high, causing you to lower brightness of images !

SS not warning (Red dot, and message) 'Editorial NOT accepted' on Adobe and Canstock !!
This is on 4K Video (UHD), works fine for HD (FHD) !? Also fine on 4K Jpegs !

Are you sure you've marked them as Editorial before submitting them? Also please check that the Editorial marks are still there in the program.
Any chance of making the 'Editorial Box' more distinctive ? Maybe CAPS or bright Yellow or Red perhaps ? Larger would be Good !! I keep forgetting to Tick it  I can't be the Only one surely !?

You can click on it (in the submission panel) and select "ready", then try to upload again

Well I use Xpiks and Deepmeta for IS. I can't praise Xpiks enough, it really suits my workflow perfectly, I watched it mature over time and support is really quick and helpful, really great for a free piece of software.
It doesn't Submit though, does it ?? StockSubmitter does, though u have to pay above 33 subs/month
No it doesn't but it's free and for my quantities it really doesn't take much time at all to submit to FT and SS, thou 33 limit on StockSubmitter is realistically more of a daily quota than monthly, so it's not really free at all.
I submit to 12 sites (as it's so easy with SS) so would take a while longer and I pay for 100/250 a month !! (small amount)

Thanks for the reply. It would be a really useful function, but I realize that this function is very complex. My problem is that where one image might be approved at one agency, it might be rejected at another. There is a function in the program to mark an image as approved, but is does not allow you to make this selection agency specific. It just marks it as approved to all agencies. The same goes for marking an image as rejected. The program does provide for agency specific categorization for Ready, Uploading, Uploaded, and submitted, but only if the function was performed in the program, not if you made modification directly on the site. So there is no way to reflect agency specific changes that are made manually on the site.
I really like your program for keyword research and for FTP uploading. At this point it lacks a little to be a database manager, but I can see you are working towards that goal. Hopefully, my feedback will be helpful.
Status by Agency ! at the top right, will show u on an individual agency basis !! U can then set accordingly Does this help ? it's the way I do it

ฺBlue is reserved for multiple images selected with different statuses.
Different shade of Blue perhaps ?? ;-) or another colour altogether ? :-)

while we're on the subject ! any chance of having a Blue dot for Accepted ?? it still shows Green !? Rejected shows Red though ?? TIA
