OK, so when I send up a fully keyworded pic, with title, somebody at CV goes through it, changes the title (often wrongly) and keywords (often strangely).
It's their ball and their game....but seems a waste of everybody's time.

I mean, they used to sell pretty much one size canvas prints, I seem to recall. But now?  The problem is that I typically put my (best) photos on more than one site, but would like to have some consistency of pricing across all sites. With FAA you can choose price (markup), my own site ditto. But 500px? How have other people dealt with this please? Is there any way on 500px I can set size/price, for example? Or is it basically just the microstock model where 500px sell whatever they can for whatever they can get - and just give us a percentage of that. I really just need to see their price list and purchase option (shown to customers) I guess.... I did look on their site but found no useful info. Cheers.

I do find their site difficult to navigate so am probably missing something....however....
Rejection (S) I guess probably means Soft Rejection
ie I can tweak and resubmit if I want.
But is there a way to know WHY it was rejected ie what to tweak?
Or am I completely misunderstanding....
Normally, I wouldn't worry but recently they rejected what I think is a good and commercial photo....

I've just completed this - again - but have been notified that without a US or foreign TIN they will take full tax from me at 30%.
In the past this has never happened. Has something changed or should I put a tax number from here (Italy) in? Any ideas please?

I'm not really an illustrator, but sometimes add PS elements to photos which are then jpg. I'm never sure whether to categorize them as illustrations or photos. Any guidelines or advice would be appreciated.

Server errors when logging in, loads more captcha - now forum down (again) and this:
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /forum/.
Reason: Could not connect to remote machine: Connection refused
Oh - and NO sales today. No idea if there's any connection.....

Couldn't resist sharing this!
I finally saw I had 50 credits at Fotolia, given that I no longer upload to them due to their truly feeble payment rates. But when I tried to convert the credits into money, I could not do so, so I contacted Support.
Their reply posted below!
I've not seen a decimal like that since I left school!!!!
What precision.....!
The figure of 50 credits you are seeing is rounded up. You currently have 49.9955 credits available. After your next sale you will be able to convert your credits.

Hoping for some clarification here....
I know that I mustn't submit general RF micro photos to Alamy as RM.
BUT
if I understand correctly, any Editorial photos (with logos, products, people etc) submitted to Alamy automatically become RF.
So does this mean that I must choose EITHER to send Editorial to the micros OR Alamy?
Maybe I'm just easily confused but advice appreciated!

Is it just me??? I emailed support a while back about the MR but heard nothing. Still can't get an MR through - and today I find the same problem with a Property Release. I get this message: Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Apache Server at www.dreamstime.com Port 80 Both MR and PR are jpeg and in the past I have sent some up...

Hi - until recently this was just a click on the menu button and voil! Now I get a message saying that access to the forum is: application/x-httpd-php (14.2 kB) and Firefox queries whether I want to save it - or else I have the option of browsing for a programme to open it (but which one???). Anybody else having this problem? What should I do? I would, of course, have posted this query in the SS forum....but I can't get in

I'm just trying out this software and can find no way to add keywords to images for microstock - I've tried Tags, and in the Description field but nothing transfers via Filezilla.
I gather some Corel users use other programmes for adding and saving keywords which sounds fairly cumbersome.
Is it really not possible to do this within Corel?
I've looked around for an answer, but since I downloaded the software, I don't have access to a manual - so help much appreciated!

I just downloaded a Java update (6 Update 30). Now Photoshop won't work. Have restarted the computer, tried to uninstall and reinstall PS but it won't let me uninstall (says I need to close Bridge first but Bridge isn't open) .... Anybody else notice this or is just coincidence? Any views?

I signed up with Veer on the English speaking version of the site because I speak English. The system (?) has now decided that because I have an Italian email address, I want the site in Italian. Any idea how I can change back to the English version - maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find this info. Support have yet to reply...
