I'm just trying out this software and can find no way to add keywords to images for microstock - I've tried Tags, and in the Description field but nothing transfers via Filezilla. I gather some Corel users use other programmes for adding and saving keywords which sounds fairly cumbersome. Is it really not possible to do this within Corel? I've looked around for an answer, but since I downloaded the software, I don't have access to a manual - so help much appreciated!

I just downloaded a Java update (6 Update 30). Now Photoshop won't work. Have restarted the computer, tried to uninstall and reinstall PS but it won't let me uninstall (says I need to close Bridge first but Bridge isn't open) .... Anybody else notice this or is just coincidence? Any views?

Thanks for that - yes, I guess there's no harm in uploading to both.... So long as there is some action and your Alamy sales sound good to me!

Just wondering how things went! I've been looking to join Demotix but wonder if Alamy would be better for News and Editorial. No doubt I'd also send up RF to Alamy once accepted etc.... Is either - Demotix or Alamy - worth the effort do you find?

Problems logging in, then the new Agreement screen - but earnings stats all wrong and main info section ('more') inaccessible. Assuming it isn't just me...!

1) Click login button top right of the main screen - I use http://en.fotolia.com2) Now enter your details with password in the right place to get into the site. 3) Go to My Files tab in the long row of options - then click on Manage my files in the dropdown box which appears. Now you will see you Accepted files and Pending ones further down the page. 4) On the right of this screen there is a green button to show Deleted pics - press this and those also rejected appear in the list. Hope that helps.

The contributor site is down today - and it's not just for me according to that site! Hope it's not a major glitch a few days from the end of the month!

Well - I think I've got some pics in the system now! Fairly longwinded and so much scrolling up and down the page I couldn't believe it! But language not a problem in the event as key pages are in English! Disambiguation was fun though - I input in English of course and they suggested words in Italian. And some very odd ones too! A macro shot of two bees eating a pear, and they suggested the keyword 'sexy'. Hmmm....!! I decided NOT to add it!

Thanks for suggestions and offers of help! I hope to go and have a proper look around at the weekend when I have more time. I will sit myself down with a nice glass of Italian wine and see how things go....!

Wow!!! That is just SO mad!!! And unhelpful!! Italian may be beautiful in certain circumstances, but finding my way round a website when my Italian is only - well - mediocre just isn't my idea of fun! Thanks to all for comments - and for Veer for at least replying. But Veer - PLEASE can you reconsider this? After all, I could sign up via the English speaking site - if I'd got it only in Italian I probably would have abandoned then and there! Queppalle!! Sigh......!

I signed up with Veer on the English speaking version of the site because I speak English. The system (?) has now decided that because I have an Italian email address, I want the site in Italian. Any idea how I can change back to the English version - maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find this info. Support have yet to reply... Cheers for any help.

I'd be more impressed of they abandoned new toys and concentrated on getting the search/lost images problems sorted!!!!

'Relevant' search seems to be a real Catch 22 situation. Made worse, though, now that new pics don't even appear under 'new' search results for goodness sake! No hope there then, dead and buried before they show... PLUS (while I'm feeling peeved!) what is all this about SAFE SEARCH? The button is fairly hidden, it's true, but that's not my gripe. I guess that if you don't want your kids to see 'dodgy' pics, then this is reasonable... My problem is that it is blocking ALL SORTS OF STUFF! From a basket of fruit to a (relatively harmless) scorpion. Now, I guess some people may be phobic about the scorpion so the 'safe search' option may be protecting them (but I doubt it!) - but a bowl of fruit??? Come on....! Sigh....

Problems for me also... For almost 2 whole days it was like the good old days - sales were good, old and new stuff - just like it used to be. But now - again - new batches have disappeared and sales returned to a trickle... It's just SO frustrating!

Yes - I really like 123 too! Not a huge earner - but better than many. And great for info/ analysis on sales etc - plus EASY PEASY QUICK upload and approval. Now, if only it paid better....!!! Guess you can't have it all!

Seems like even Lightburner has now got by the BS upload bug...! They say it should be fixed 'within a few days'.

I had these problems a few months back - eventually decided (reluctantly) to abandon BS. Their helpline just said - very unhelpfully I thought - to use another upload system and not Filezilla. I'm not keen to do this, not least because Filezilla works very happily for everybody else! But it's disappointing to see that the same problems continue! Trying again today but the problem is identical to before ie: error 530 ...something about 3 connections per login... Just ONE photo has gone across today and now it's blocked. Hugely irritating - and no sign that BS is worried as clearly no action for months... Easy workround ideas welcome - but better still if BS could sort their system! Lucky people who are getting their SS pics automatically sent to BS!!

Yes -I know I'm behind the times - but surely there are millions of us still with IE??? Lets hope that when Beta finishes, it WILL be suited also to IE.
