Off Topic / Re: Whitechild became Dreamframer
« on: May 26, 2010, 14:35 »
What? Really?
Hard to imagine.
Dreamframer sounds really Dreamstime, I agree.
What if you want to go exclusive?
Anyway, welcome :)

Yawn

Easy, 24-105L on FF for microstock. It has a lot of flaws but if I could only have one lens, this would be it.

Ok, flight booked, now, where to stay?
Holgs, anything interesting yet?
Burlington seems bookable for around 250 for four nights, not sure yet weather to get a hotel nearer to the center.

81
So, who is shooting?
I think I am, still not 100% though.
Holgs, are you attending the conference?
Regarding hotels, the Ballsbridge inn and Burlington seem a bit far from city center, where are the GTG's going to take place?

I'm not going to the conference - no offense to those speaking or organising, but I think I can find better value for 190euros at one or more of Dublin's fine drinking establishments, where I'm hoping to be able to catch up with those participating!

I haven't booked any accommodation yet either - I think prices for the places mentioned here have also gone up in the intervening time.

Yeah, prices seemed o go up, let me know when you find a good deal, ok?

82
good question.  I haven't figure out the shoot yet so the when and where is still to be determined.  I'll hopefully get to work on it early next week.

Fair enough, but the when is still the 7th, right?

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Fresh exclusive feedback
« on: May 18, 2010, 16:24 »
I'm exclusive since the beginning of April, and it's way too early to draw any conclusions.
I'm happy for now though, no sub's anymore and only one (set of) hoop (s) to jump through.
April was my 4th BME, no Vetta, no Exclusive+ (still figuring out some kind of strategy).

85
I might be in for the GTG/shoot.
Maybe from 6-10th or so.
Depends on what models will attend too, do you have any booked?
Any French models?

86
Yeah, got some real good ones.
I never knew they actually grow reflectors on the bottom of the Cannes harbor though. Interesting stuff.

87
Well, I made it :)
No sign of train strikes whatsoever.
Hope to see you soon!

88
I only got confirmation after mailing [email protected] about it.

What did you wish for?
It was secret. If he reveals it, he may have to give back the money.  ;D
Hehe, well, he had to tweet it anyway.

Yeah, well done!

92
I only got the photographers program.
It's the black tie thing that put me off.

93
I booked the flight today, so let's keep it on the 27th. Cannes is best for me I think, going to book the hotel soon.
Got my crown today, so I'll find out one way or the other about the exclusive issue ;)

94
Just noticed the GTG is on tuesday while the 'lypse ends on sunday, any particular reason for that?

I don't think exclusives will get in trouble as iStock lets non-exclusives participate in their shoots.

For anyone traveling from Holland: Transavia flies directly to Nice from Amsterdam or Rotterdam fairly cheap.

95
Hmm, tempting.
I think I'll be there.
How will you be traveling?

« on: February 22, 2010, 17:39 »
I don't have any problem other selling too little, but today I got a sale on S size that paid me 1.50, when it's normally 0.60.  Any clues?
ah, so that is where my money is going  ;)

I did.
It would be nice to let us know how you are doing though.

After deleting the keywords in DM, did you click "send updates to iStockphoto" in the iStockphoto-tab?

I can do better.  >:(
My balance is currently -97$, I lost about 170$ this month.
Apparently it has something to do with deleting images.

ohhhh... apparently?? explain us :)
After deleting some pics I noticed that some of my revenue had disappeared.
After I mailed support they answered disappearing revenue could have something to do with deleted pics and that they are working on it.
Anybody have similar experiences?
