The exact same thing happened to me a few months ago and it was resolved on it's own in a few days..
That gives me some hope then that it will correct itself. I noticed it sometime this past week and it hasn't fixed itself yet. I wonder if I should flush my DNS or wait a few more days.

It's a little quicker with Firefox so it has to be something I've set in my IE browser options.
I was wondering since my bounce rate on Google Analytics was high so I thought it might've been affecting people browsing the site.
I'll just carry on then.

Okay wonder what's going on then. When I search the same term a second time it took just as long. Might be a browser setting or something I have. I'll check it in Firefox to see if I get the same for me.

Well isn't that cute. There was absolutely no announcement about that being no longer available completely underhanded.
I quit uploading there awhile back as I was getting very little or no return for my efforts.
Seems to me like the strings are being pulled by the shareholders and it's all about keeping them happy. Going to hell in a hand basket that's for sure.

I don't know what happened but my search seems to be taking really long to load on my site. I don't notice this on other sites using their search to see if it's my ISP and it's not.
Not sure what I can do to get that to perform better as I don't think it's the network that's slowing it down.
Can someone check to see if they see if it takes a long time to load after searching? The link's in my signature.

You are correct they don't take eps files but they will take large jpg files.

I don't know what my acceptance rate is but I left out a lot of craptacular images and images that I didn't think were good enough.
I already knew going into this that a lot of the stuff that I've done in the past especially when I started back in '09 wouldn't make it on my own site even though some of them are on agencies (who knows why they accepted them as they wouldn't pass today). I'd like to think it's around 50%-60% with what I've uploaded and I have about 400-500 left to upload and most of those are sets I have to figure out pricing for.
It's good to know we're not just throwing everything on our sites. Buyers have enough problems weeding through less than stellar images (some of mine included) to find the perfect image for them.
We are on the front lines of our site and should know what's good and what's not. We are our own worst critics but makes for better sites for us all.

Mine does. It has the thumbnail and the watermarked image along with all the other images that I use on the site.

No I don't think you need to SEO the media library since it includes the images that are on your individual image pages that buyers see.
Course I also don't know what good or bad it would do if you were to do that. SEO is new to me.

I suppose it can be done with a zip file, not sure though.
To show off the file you could make an animation and images and add it to the 3D file page via "add media".
I keep forgetting about the media section.

I do 3d as well and was thinking about the 3d files in the future for sale. Only thing I can think of is making them available as zip files but not sure how we could show off extra views of the model or a 360 turn table unless we put them on YouTube or something.

Do you determine the price of the collections or are there default prices depending on how many images you place in that collection? Or do you have some kind of formula that you come up with on your own? Just curious since I can't do the premium version at this time and I do have sets I want to put together.

Nope redneck it surely doesn't. I don't even know how the cloud thing works either so I'll just spend around an hour backing up my own stuff to my computer.
Maybe a tutorial on how to back up a database and then how to restore it would be good as well.

My host offers cloud as well but when they screwed up my migration and didn't migrate my database I don't really trust them with clouding my backups.

Don't you have to be invited to join Getty? Though I do remember a thread a few years ago that had to do with some kind of application process and if they reject you, you can't try again.
Not entirely sure about Corbis though I've not seen many threads on them.

I don't think I go about it the right way but I log in to my ftp and throw it into an update folder. Then I go and backup my database.
Is the general rule: back up every time you add and/or make changes? or Daily backup (not sure how I could do that with just updated files instead of the entire site if that's even possible) or update once a week?

Just out of curiosity...are you on a free host or a paid host?
I started out on a free host where images wouldn't process and I would get the same with thumbnails not showing and the image page not showing the image either.
Also sounds like there's a memory limit in your php.ini file.

I believe it had something to do with the version update.
You might want to try to activate a WP standard theme like Twenty Eleven for a few seconds, then activate Symbiostock theme and then your child theme.
I had that problem when I upgraded WP and then SY last week and that sequence fixed my uploader.

I'm still seeing the ladybug logo and not your square logo.
Okay that I don't know much about making it behave as if it were in your root folder and not in a separate one. Now I feel like it is a bug like Shazam said.

When I click that link it says page not found. But when I click on your logo you show up under your main domain and not blog. Set your site to http://www.digitalbristles.com/ and try again.

Ah see I get it now  Kind of like a show me more type of thing that would call into different tables depending on how much the keyword calls up sort of like reserve tanks. I've never really done much with databases other than storing information when I tried making my own little update blog. But never anything more than adding and calling information and nothing on the scale that you guys do.

I was worried about yours and AJT's sites having a meltdown when more people start to get SY how much of a server load your sites would take when you implement to automated. Ship can't run if the engines are down
