If they're removing those too they haven't gotten to mine yet.

I've had 2 of mine removed as well.  It's a Panamanian governmental thing they don't want their flags used for commercial purposes.

The thumbnails are still there but click on any of them and they'll say they've been removed sans a few photographs.

Newbie Discussion / Re: Fine Art America - Pricing your images
« on: September 24, 2013, 16:55 »
I'll probably start with the free version and work my way to the premium.  I'm not going to use stock images for this but things I'm in the process of learning so my port is starting at zero there.

Definitely more food for thought.

First off I apologize for the thread jack.  Are you all on their yearly plan or the free plan?  Does the yearly plan (aside from search placement) offer any other benefits like higher royalties per sale.

Print on Demand Forum / Re: No sales on Zazzle any more!?
« on: September 19, 2013, 09:59 »
I'm not seeing any sales with the 1,000+ products I made back in July.  So it's just going to sit there until I reach payout which will probably be in about 10 years.

I don't post on their forums unless I need to.  It's so squished it makes it very hard to read.

I haven't upgraded since I upgraded to 2.5.6 last month.  And from the looks of it with the problems everyone's having I'm not likely to do an upgrade any time soon.

Wonder if the theme is overriding your server settings.  I'm not a tech head but that's the only thing I can think of.

I take it that it's been going on for awhile for you then.

I wonder what it could be if it's a bug in the version you're running or a compatibility issue on your host.  I've not seen this particular bug before (the others related were memory and size issues).

Hopefully Leo will see this and get it sorted out for you.

Is there something going on with the limits in the php.ini file?  Or one of the theme files that needed to get changed to increase the limit (I've forgotten which file it is).

When you process does the page come up blank?

Software / Re: Adobes Profit Falls 59 Percent !

Oops!  Upgrade was a poor word choice I made.  I'll hunt around online to see if I can't get a physical disk somewhere.  I only use PS and AI both of which severely outdated.  If I can't get CS6 I'll try to go up to at least CS5 on both and that should do me for awhile.

Is CS6 the last physical product?  I would like to upgrade my PS7 and AICS.

I won't go to subscription based software to me that's nuts I'd rather have the disk on hand to install and not have issues with cloud related things if something goes wrong on the internet during an update or whatever.  I can see it being useful to those that freelance it's just not for me.

New Sites - General / Re: The Art of Bussiness Card.
« on: September 16, 2013, 22:14 »
I haven't done anything on there in a really long time.  Sold 2 cards this week so maybe I should spend some time seeing how to system works now.  They pay out on the third Wednesday of every month.

You're welcome :)

Don't edit the core files save a copy of header.php into your child theme and edit that one.  But get some sleep first and come back to it with a fresh pair of eyes :)

When you go into your WordPress dashboard hover over Settings (it'll be on the left hand side of the page) a pop over menu will pop up and click on permalinks.

Once that page loads under common settings you'll click on the post name radio button then scroll down and click the save changes button.

Glad you got it resolved.

Is everything working for you okay now?  I remember you having issues with files not going to the download area.

A battery I haven't forgotten...SD card on the other hand more than I can count.  I find it all snug in the computers SD port.

Remember your battery...remember your battery...remember your battery.

Repetition helps with remembering  ;D

Wow sharpshot that is a really advantageous goal.  I do wish you much luck in reaching your goal and getting the results you're after.

I envy those that can figure out their goals.  I've been in the doldrums lately without any direction I don't think I'm the only one either.  We'll find our direction just may take a few wrong turns to get there.

I wish it was like that.  I might've gotten in the game too late I don't know.  Is there a such thing as being too diversified?

My yearly has gone up every year except this one.  Definitely dumbfounded on what to do next.

I'm at 1/3 of what I made last year on SS.  Last year I made over 2k this year I'm not even at 1k so pretty * drastic turn/change of events for me.

I sure don't know what to make anymore either and I have suffered this year and have also seen 0 on a week day.  It sucks so you're not alone.  My port is extremely diversified so I can't understand what's going on.  This year has been so awful I missed payout twice this year and I've made payout every month for over 2 years before that.

I was going to start uploading again but if new content won't sell at all except one here and one there not sure if it's worth it for me to make new images for them to get either reject for the wrong reasons or get accepted and just sit there gathering dust in my port.

Doesn't hurt to try and post your results and if it worked well for you.

I don't have any experience with Blurb but there's http://www.createspace.com I've been working with them since January publishing two childrens books.  I've not been able to order copies of my own stuff yet so I can't vouch for the quality.  There's another site that you can do hardbound on (can't find it can't remember the name shoot!) there's also http://www.lulu.com I don't have any experience with them either.

So I supposed I'm not much help here.

That FTP has been broken for awhile now.  Seems like it's been months since that's worked properly for me at least.

73
Ah okay I haven't been in a Fotolia thread lately  ;D

I'm all for the separation just wish that there was an announcement somewhere about it.  I didn't see one and I'm here every day.  Can anyone point me to where that took place at?

I just had a nice refund of $7.20 on an image bought the other day.  Not happy about it as I though the credit sales I got were giving me a hope of a turn around.

How silly of me to think that  :'(
