Have noticed quite a few forum posts at SS have been reporting slower sales in recent times.
Are we to expect this as SS grows bigger with more competition among contributors or is it a reflection of the current global economy?

Just wondering will photographers in the Euro zone will be putting their payouts on hold with the current unfavourable exchange rate of the Euro against the dollar.
I have some I could take out but am going to leave for the moment.

Can anyone define the "when is" and "when is not needed"
For example if you are taking a private home but not standing on their property - you don't need a release. Am I right on this?
It seems some sites will accept without while others reject!

Last time I tried to close my account at Canstock - it seems that you have to delete all of the images yourself - and you have to do it one by one - certainly not made easy!!

Just got approved today at SS.
I think it was my second attempt. I might have tried once before, it's a long time ago and I never got back to giving it another shot.
I really became inspired when I read here in the forums of others getting accepted.
Got 8 out of 10 so obviously feeling good and also won a few bob at Cheltenham - so a pretty good day all round!

Needless to say, a lot of photographers are not crazy on it.
However, it's good to see the that SV's database of images is really increasing.
Who knows, when it comes out of Beta we could see some action!!

Do you find SV site slow to move around in with pages taking ages to load.
I know it's only in Beta so that's probably part of reason.

The year has got off to a really good start at FP with nice Dls in the last few days.

They're certainly big on rejections.
I like to see my pics get a chance and there are other places where they will.
The long review time and then being throttled by rejections does little to encourage uploading.
I think I'll stick with the ones I know!
