I've come to the conclusion that the rejection reasons given are irrelevant. It now seems to be up to reviewers to decide whether or not they feel the collection would benefit from having something. If they think so, it gets accepted, if not, they hit a random rejection button.
Of course, some rejections will be for the given reason, but once something is good enough in technical terms, it then runs into the "do we want it" layer of reviewing.
DT's "too many of the same thing" when you have three completely different views of a subject may be irritating (and stupid) but at least you know what is happening.
I tend to agree with you on this. Even being rejected for focus when it appears technically OK.

Good Keywording I feel plays a big part.
Diversity in your portfolio gives you a better chance for regular downloads.
I don't participate much in forums or blogs - not sure if any of these help.
As said earlier its a case of quality and if you can quantity.

For me on FT sales come in bursts and then seem to go quiet for a while.

At one stage I was with 6 or 7 agencies.
Now it's down to just 3 and I feel more comfortable with that.
Also, less work involved.

It doesn't bother me at all how long it takes.
As they say 'no news is good news'!
So, as long as they are hanging there,at least you know they are not rejected.
Getting smacked with instant rejection can be a real 'downer' also!

No offence to your original post, but I think it's unwise to 'post up' your best selling work.
To do this makes it just then a sitting target to be copied (exactly), which has been done so many times before.
Threads with "show us your best" etc are just an easy way of gathering together images which can be exploited.
I would suggest that the contributor who wants to get a handle on the market and what can and does sell, should research this for themselves.

All I can say is that the trend can be bucked.
I haven't uploaded anything in the last 6 months and yet my sales are as good as last year.

I've been unable to upload anything to SS for about 2 months now and my sales continue to grow....I'm half afraid to start uploading again for fear of my sales falling off... 
Similiar experience for me - can't complain!

In my opinion there is very little outside the Top 6 to the right of this page.
Venturing further than that can cost you a lot of time and effort for little reward!

do you mean youve lost out by $50. If so, my advice is to go looking for it. I was below payout on one site when I closed my account and I received payment when I politely asked for it.
