I have my site setup. Just working on adding more images, and some actual content pages. Then I will work on some aesthetic changes. http://www.theruchos.com

Would it be possible to have pricing groups? Either on default pricing, or as a bulk way to change the price on similarly priced images?

Yes, editorial footage needs to follow the same caption format.

I've had sporadic sales on 123RF, unfortunately with the commission cuts and a large portion of those sales having used 'promotional credits' (so I am told), have been getting some very low commissions from sales there. Have recently started uploading to Motion Elements, had good views but no sales there yet.

I stumbled across this thread and had to create an account and comment.
After years of working in contractual and license media production, we decided to take a spin at the "impossible" co-op policy you mention here. We address most the marketplace problems you list in this thread in our own policies at Nimia.
Nimia is made by and for producers, but the business wouldn't be possible without our team of IP, CS, and marketing ninjas. We have a rock star team here and we're working hard on tailoring our application and policies to the needs of the community. Nimia co-op, NMG, has a board of directors that is currently filled with directors, producers, technologists, a marketing director, and an IP specialist.
The Nimia application is in private beta, but we are already working with some extraordinary producers. We have the technology in place to manage still imagery, but we are focused on motion picture content at this time.
I don't want to litter this thread with all of the great benefits of Nimia and our group. If you are interested in learning more, feel free to reach out to us or browse our beta blog. We love comments, criticisms, and questions.
Cheers, Zach news.nimia.com
Looks very interesting, especially as it is tailored to us footage producers. Will be following the progress of this one. Thanks for the info Zach.

I am trialing with newer and 'premium' files at $90. Some more unique ones at $50. Then the common and generic ones at either $25 or $10, depending on how generic and common they are. Still early days, so can't say whether it works or not.

I've had a post deleted from that thread, responding not so happy clappy about the 'update' about MS and Google deals. I'm guessing I'm not the only one, so all the happy posts left are probably just the ones they haven't deleted.

More protection for the full sized files is best.

All IPTC info, including date and camera model always come up automatically on Pond5 when I upload. Makes it really easy to upload.

Photo downloads at 123rf have dried up for me, and I get a pittance whenever a sale does happen.
Video downloads are very sporadic, and regularly end up very under priced for what I should get, for which support like to say it's because of 'promotional credits' or something of the like that they give out.

Adobe Bridge works great for doing that.

I had one photo sale there when they first opened it up, but had nothing since.
Easily my best selling video site though, and the deal for contributors is great for photo too, so I really hope sales pick up on the photo side.

You cant batch change the copyright name and you cant batch add a release, so its useless. I closed my account because of the lack of views, lack of support, lack of features, lack of everything.
If you select all the files with the same release, and choose "Attach Release" in the drop down menu at the bottom, you can batch add a release to all those files at once.
