Just got this email from my test site, which has network DEACTIVATED "Public image and tag info updated. Network has been scanned and directory updated. - 2013-05-30 12:06:16" Looks it's still alive

At the moment it is http://stock.lkpublishinganddesign.combut I uploaded another and I did not click the save button so now is full 10 working. The 10th is http://dpstockphotos.comI think it would be good to have more than 10 on the list, then a description that thr FIRST 10 is active, so we could make some moves having more than 10 stored. Also it could be automated if some site does not respond for a while - a spare site goes up to the main 10. Well it's just a feature not necessary at the moment. It may be overriden by promoting sites from the list.

I cann add 10 sites and it works, but if I click SAVE it cuts them to 9 Also I understand it's limited to 10 at the moment? Adding 11th site sends emails "cathyslifestockphotos was notified that you added them" but it's not true

Right, so it was a bug, because after I reactivated it before there was 0 sites linked.
I did the same again and now it's empty, will see if that helps.
Although If network is deactivated SY shouldn't use this site.

Network on fotostocki.pl is deactivated since few day now, I don't have it included anywhere else, majbe SY got it's own life and it's gonna grow up by itself;)
Still I see request comming from few sites, looks like some users might add it from the list

It's very easy with the child theme, you can do it as fast as you wanted to do with the main theme.
And SY is in beta, so Leo has to overwrite sometimes many files because of the giant changes at this stage

You better use the child theme or you gonna loose all your customizations on each SY update.In it's folder you'll find the style.css - you edit this one and all changes go to SY main theme. /wp-content/themes/symbiostock-child/style.css To find what is in the main stylesheet you need to look at wp-content/themes/symbiostock/css/styles.css After the update, your changes stay in place. You can also change other templates or functions from the main theme - but it takes some time to know what is where. Sample url about http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

@Linda interesting that you did only deactivate the child and it worked, I thought rather about the main Symbiostock theme. Sometimes it's good to just upload it manuallty to the server. Anyway grat news it works

Looks like you have a problem with the network cache in symbiostock_network directory (I suppose). Maybe try to deactivate and activate Symbiostock theme again, check the directory permisions to 755 otherwise wait for Leo..

I have it in a subdirectory of course, then I just pointed the subdomain to it, so depending on your host it may take you a minute, although it's possible you would have to change some paths in the WP or DB, you'll know if it won't start up

I suppose Google will be happy to see more content, and you will get true backlinks, altough I would change that /wordpress into something more descriptive and short. Many people added Symbiostock to their existing sites, you just need to look around the network. I have imagerion.com - added another wordpress on a subdomain http://stock.imagerion.com I I just did not want the subdirectory, so prefer the subdomain.

Well.. I use the Child Theme since the beginning, have a lot of customizations and more than just css - nothing happens after updates.
I click update then activate child theme back and everything works ok, all files stay in the child folder untouched.
