I have a message at the bottom of my site pages that reads:

Could anyone else check this please to see if they see the same thing, then I will (temporarily) block Jean and see if it goes away

I think if we had a separate community  - we could have a forum for potential buyers as well as sellers so if someone wanted a particular project done instead of going though all of us they could ask on a forum.

If it had moderators we could put useful tips and tricks together so they don't get lost which would be useful for new site owners (and existing ones).  A lot of people are unlikely to come across us here or venture in once they see microstock (with apologies to Leaf) but if they are searching for Symbiostock and find a thriving community then it might benefit us all ?

If you decide to purchase any of the paid plug ins - donations to the designers - tax on all the images you sell

List of sites is growing and I should to do something with it. List them in more columns, paginate somehow, move to subpage?

Can you give options to sort maybe - number of images as now/ alphabetical / new images uploaded in last 24 hours (or however long your updates take) ?

This way they could still be a long list ?

A designated app is supposed to make browsing, viewing (and hopefully purchasing) easier and more comfortable than using the browser on your phone.

In addition to that, imagine people have this designated app (including icon) on the screen of their phone. It's like a constant reminder to use it regularly. Best advertisement ever.
Not to mention the publicity and the attention the app gets when it hits the Apple App Store. That should give a good boost not only in regards to sales but also to getting new contributors.

Spectral Design - I am experimenting with this plug in on my testing site where I have some prices over �1,000.00 - when I add difference licences with additional prices I get  say - �00.01 instead of �1000.00 and assumed it was because of the high figures in Medium and Large sizes w

Enhanced/Extended - for uses such as calendars, cards, print on demand where the picture is the main reason for the item

I am avoiding the term RF and it only crops up where Leo has not yet removed it.  I am selling single use licences (up to 100,00 print run) and if they want another useage they should buy another licence.  As all my images are exclusive to my site I am not competing with myself on the micros

Custom/RM - if client wants exclusive usage for a period of time (only available for images that have not previously been licenced)

Pricing - higher than Micros !

I'm ready to run the update und to purchase the upgrade but I'm scared to mess up my site.

Set up a subdomain with wordpress and symbiostock and child theme and a few images for testing and experimenting (don't link it to the network) and play with it there.  It will be useful when you come to do the licences etc

Its even not allowed to advertise like that. It was never offered at 125 dollar, unless I am missing something.

Probably differerent laws on other side of the pond, think of it as introductory offer instead of discount

Did your "buyer" get an email with an acknowledgement of the sale, a thumbnail of the picture they bought and a download link - you should also have had a copy of this?

One major benefit of Wordpress and thus Symbiostock is the ability to edit the theme to your own preferences.

When you first open it, it looks somewhat boring and there is lots of data in the top right hand corner (above header area), most of us have edited this to just show login and contact details. To get
CONTACT DETAILS you are best using a plug in such as Contact Form 7 (go to Plug Ins and search) then install and activate it. Edit it to your liking and remove the extra < > that it automatically places around [email] or you will not get the email address of the person contacting you.

In your Pages section Symbiostock automatically creates some pages, I think this is one of them, you can add additional text if you wish.

Now to make use of that contact form

Go to Appearance, Menus

Click on the little plus sign and in the menu name box add " above header " � without the quote marks and save menu.
On the left hand side of the page select Above Header in the theme locations above header box and save. Keep saving so you do not forget and lose your work.

Repeat this with header as you will also need a header soon.

Now select your "above header" tab . On the left hand side of the page there will be a section called "Pages", if it is not showing then go to the top right of the page just under where it says Howdy, select "screen options" and the drop down will give you a list of options you can show on the page. Once you have pages showing then click in the box next to "Contact" and click the add to menu box below it. This will now show up in your header so SAVE.

The time will come when you wish to add categories to your header menu. Use the same method but instead of adding from "pages" add them from "image categories". If you wish to have child categories such as Animal � dog then just pull the Dog tab slightly to the right so it indents under Animal. You can change the order of these by dragging them up and down as you wish.
