The UL process is finished, the problem was that one of the files was a tiff, that's not supported. Couldn't I get that report over an hour ago. I re-uploaded the .jpg version, but got this message:
Note:
Do not put copyrighted keywords into description or keywords field,
Do not put name or brand of camera used to take the photos,
Modifying description and/or keywords of an image will send it back to pending queue.
DSC_1739L.jpg: Upload Failed

I have no idea, what that message is about and what could any of that have to do with that particular failed UL.

Well I have to get there to see it, but yes, Shutterstock i way ahead of everyone when it comes to uploading and editing content, simply superb as are the earnings (which matter the most anyway).

The site seems more and more pathetic, with every new error message I get

Hi Slovenian,

The Note that you received is only a notification message, not an error message.

Kindly attached the "Upload Failed" file and email to [email protected] so that we can proceed and investigate your issues further.

Many thanks,
Anglee

Nice feature. Interesting to see. Thank you Anglee. Are they arranged from most sales to least, or are the placement of the thumbs random?

Hi CD123,

Thanks for loving this feature. The thumbs images are placing randomly. But, all of them are our top downloaded images in May.

123RF / Re: Opting out of API Partner Sales
« on: May 10, 2011, 22:47 »
Hi 123rf

I would still really like to know the commision in % we recieve on these partner sites?

And

Why can we not be told about the sites you intend to sell our images on?

Hi somethingpretentious,

The commission will always be 50% nett, either on 123RF or partner sites. As for the partner list, we've governed by the non-disclosure agreement thus unable to disclose them. However, I'm able to comment that the partner list on http://www.microstockgroup.com/general-stock-discussion/a-list-of-partner-programs/ is quite accurate.

Thanks for your understanding.

Anglee

Where can I see the commisions paid through the partner sites, and where can I see a list of the sites?

Hi somethingpretentious,

The commission from our partner sites will be added in your daily earning. We will not show our partner list as we are governed by Non Disclosure Agreements.

Warm Regards,
Anglee

Thanks Anglee

123RF / Re: Editorial FTP uploading
« on: March 15, 2011, 23:09 »
I do not remember creating sub folder. When I logged using FTP client it was there so I decided it was created for me to put editorials in it. I am moving files to my root folder now. Then I will nuke 2 sub folders I got there: "editorial" and "images".

Hi Melastmohican,

You may upload all your editorial images in "Editorial" folder, NOT "Images" folder. You can then process all editorial images from there.

Hope this information helps.

Have a pleasant day.

« on: March 14, 2011, 21:44 »
I found "editorial" sub directory in my root so I decided to upload images there. When I am trying to get them processed nothing is found. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Melastmohican,

Good day to you.

Do you mean sub folder for sub directory? The images can't be processed if you create a sub folder in the Editorial directory. Therefore, upload as usual will do.

Hope this information helps.

3) Click "My account"
4) Go to "Personal Information". Then, you can change your minimum payout by selecting the "Preferred Payout Limit" under Photographers Detail.

I can download my own files in 123RF before, but now it can't be download for free!
What's happen? I like 123RF very much because it like a free picture backup system.
Does 123RF decide to close this feature? It's so sad  :'(

Hi Elwynn,

Good day to you.

You can download your own files for "FREE" although the credit tab display credits use to download the file.

Hope this information helps.

Cheers,
Anglee.

FYI, I reached it on Feb, 2nd...

Hi Jcpjr,

Payment will only be eligible if you've reached the minimum payout limit at the end of Month.

For example,
1) Earnings as of 31th January = $49.99
    Payout Eligibility = No.
Payment on earnings will only be done when earnings exceed $50

2) Earnings as of 2nd February = $50.30
    Payout Eligibility = Yes.
Payment will be made and reach you in March.

Hope this information helps.

Have a pleasant day!

123RF / Re: How to ask for payout
« on: February 20, 2011, 22:00 »
Per their faq's:

"No request is necessary. If you are eligible, we will pay you according to the payment method you have selected in your profile. Payments should reach you by the 17th of the month for Paypal and MoneyBookers. For photographers who have opted to receive payments via check, please allow up to a month for the check to reach you. "

FYI, the 17th came and went...no payout yet.

Hi Jcpjr,

Good day to you.

We've checked the status of your earnings. You just reached the minimum payout of $50.00 [Paypal] this month. Hence, you'll only receive payment on our next payout.

Hope this information helps.

Cheers,
Anglee
