123RF / Re: 123RF in China
« on: June 03, 2012, 22:54 »
Maybe I'm missing something?  Inmagine (that owns 123RF) is based in Hong Kong and mainland China under the names Inmagine Limited and Shanghai Inmagine Co Ltd.

Are you sure this is a sub-distributor and not just another trade name?  Maybe another brand launch?

Hey Ed,

We would like to clarify that Zcool is one of the largest designer based website in China and we are partners with them.

Thanks,

123RF / Re: 123rf video prices and commissions
« on: March 11, 2012, 23:30 »
Im pretty new to 123rf and cant figure out where my earnings are, do i have to click on earnings at the bottom for the full report or should it appear as credits on the top bar.

I also cant find stats ie. views nor can i figure out how to manage my videos eg. delete them.

Hey Stocker2011,

Yes, you need to click on the "Earnings"  located at the Footer when logged into 123RF to retrieve the full earnings report.

The credits on the top bar acts as a reminder to clients on their credit balance in the account for them to download images.

As for the video stats page, we're improving the features in stages. You can only upload, keywords and submit videos at the moment. We'll keep you posted as we add in new features.

Thanks,
Anglee

123RF / Re: New account
« on: February 20, 2012, 21:20 »
So....  Seeing as the "grandfathering proposal" has been shelved, decided to give this a go and uploaded initial 10 on Friday night.  Quite surprised this morning (I gather reviews can take some time) to see they are approved.  Few questions:

Can't see anything in a portfolio - is there normally a delay & how long?

Can I just start uploading a whole bunch of stuff now?

Hey Heywoody,

Your images will only appear in your portfolios within 48 hours - 72 hours. However, the approved images are searchable on site 24 hours after approval by our reviewers.

Indeed you can start uploading a whole bunch of stuff now.

Hope this information helps.

Anglee

123RF / Re: Referral program at 123rf not working?
« on: February 07, 2012, 21:01 »
My girlfriend, who is an illustrator, used my referral link to sign up as 123rf contributor.

She got accepted several days ago and also had her first sale today, but I do not have her in my "List of photographer you have referred".

I don't know if it need some time or something else is the problem here, and also hope that 10% cut is from 123rf not her as contributor.

If someone from 123rf answer here I can write her and my usernames.

Does anyone have someone referred in 123rf in last few weeks?

Hey panicAttack,

Thanks for the headsup.

Please email your UID together with your girlfriend's to [email protected] so that we can check this issue for you.

Thanks,
Anglee

Someone can explain me why I get a different commission , each time I sold a XXL TIFF:

October 2011: I got 2.5$ for one , and 4,35$ for other ( Same size .. 4500px x 3000px )

Today, I sold one and got 3,04$ ( 5226 x 3485 px )

....

Then i decide too look careful for other sizes, and it appears that almost files sold i got 30%. ( 2011 )

Note: I hit more than 150 files and 10 paid downloads before 2012. I opt-in PP Program.
Hey CoisaX,

The Price/Credits solely depends on the packages that our clients purchased.

For example:
1) Client bought a $15 package.
    Package Price: $15
    Credit Received: 15 Credits
    Price/Credits: $1
    After 50% sharing profit, Price/Credit: $0.50

2) Client bought a $100 package
    Package Price: $100
    Credit Received: 115 Credits
    Price/Credits: $0.87
    After 50% sharing profit, Price/Credit: $0.435

And, we share 50% of our revenue with our contributors. This include any discount given to our clients.

Hope this information helps.

Cheers,
Anglee

Hey CoisaX,

This is the correct information of XXL TIFF.

Thanks,
Anglee

Does this apply to vector too? If it does, why?

Vectors are scalable to any size without need for retouching, removal of noise or anything else from a third party. Aren't they?

Hey Fujiko,

You're right, enlargement service is not available for Vectors.

Thanks,
Anglee

Is there a reason eventhough I can see my photo being approved but doesn't show up in portfolio?

Same here.  7 initial photos approved but not showing up in portfolio (showing in searches).

Hey Jill Lang,

« on: December 20, 2011, 20:54 »
Thanks for the quick response Anglee. Is it fixed now? If the those recent images are lost to the system, the problem is that with no visual reference I kinda lose track of where I'm at with my uploads to the site.

Hey lthn,

It fixed now. You should be able to view your uploaded images.

Kindly email your UID to [email protected] if same situation happen.

123RF / Re: Broken uploads.
« on: December 19, 2011, 22:24 »
Most of my recent uploads to 123rf (jpgs, 30+) seem to be broken when I check the pending folder, no preview just the missing image icon even after 24h. The ones I uploaded today did the same, looks to be a consistent failure. Anyone experiencing something similar? It did happen on 123 before but very rarely and the images that looked broken, were broken and rejected. I use filezilla, no problem whatsoever on any other sites with the same images.

Hey lthn,

Thanks for the headsup.

We're rectifying the issue now.

Cheers,
Anglee
