Just a quick question about DT exclusive contributors: Is it worth to be one? Also: Like how good is this working for you? Faster review? Better review (if there is such a thing) or bigger income generated by a bigger exposure on revenue?
Maybe this one applies to any agency, any info on that matter will be most wellcome. Sorry if this matter was discussed before and it sound like a spam. Could not find anything...

That's strange, it's been more than two months since my images are in pending over there, as for sales... I dont know, lets say its not working for me, 5$ in one year.

The thing is, I always charge a price for my sketches. I don't want to spend hours on a sketch for free. Even if a client decides (after an extensive sketch phase) to stop working with me, he still has to pay for the work done so far. This is something I always make clear beforehand.

If he doesnt buy it, no pb, u can always use your sketches for another project and make money of it. Thats how I do it. Imposing to  a customer to pay anything before he actually sees something its a bit wild. As for working for free, im sure that the customers will be sanctioned or something for wasting your time or anybody else, but you know that too, don't you? There is no guarantee in this business-hence for the competition.

Just came across a while ago to www.drawshop.com . Great site design with good support and easy ftp upload. I strongly recommend it.
 Beside selling rf images you get to sell directly, on demand to customers. The custom work forum on drawshop is and new business for artist in my opinion- thy can now not oly sell rf graphics but also exclusive customs to users there want their own designs -  the site offer a very hign payout for
custom work- 85% will be in the artist pocket wich is great... As an artist I have full control over all prices rf as custom. Im sure that it will become the future in selling
 graphics with the ongrowing every day number of illustrators and oversaturated market. Give it a try, i know I love it:).
