nice to see Feb earnings posted in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, the same is not valid for payments, at least via Moneybookers.

Although, according to them, "starting in 2011, payment requests will be processed once a month, on the last Friday of each month", my payment is still pending since Feb 17... Just disgusting (to say the least)!

A new gem in response to payment reminders:

"Payments are now processed on the last business day (sic!) of the month. You should receive your payment on or shortly after (sic!) February 28th, 2011."

Meanwhile, StockXpert site still states 3-day payment processing period...  ::)

the problem is that without contacting them we never know and maybe the sales from Feb 2nd wouldnt have entered..

Just in case, I suppose it would be a good idea to remind them that we expect January sales reported in a timely manner...

I remember for sure that the actual number - NOT COUNTING REPETITIONS - was much higher and in line with previous months.

Same here, three times less than usual...

Frankly, I think it would be more than appropriate to collectively contact Joy Griffith (Senior Director, Client & Contributor Relations at iStockphoto; [email protected])...

Good idea.  My email has been sent.

Thanks Warren -- and mine as well. IMO, it's the only way to get things back to normal.

CanStockPhoto.com / Re: $20 sale on CS disappeared from my account
« on: November 11, 2010, 12:28 »
Just a quick note to inform the community that, 18 (!) months after the OP re. disappearing EL sales, an undocumented and non-transparent "fraudulent order reversing" (pls. see earlier post of Duncan_CSP in this thread) policy still is in place at CanStockPhoto.

In my case, these are $25.08 from almost a month old Fotosearch EL sale, and needless to say, I am going to be in touch both with CanStockPhoto and with Publitek, Inc. (dba Fotosearch) Copyright Agent shortly...

Could you please kindly forward us your account information to [email protected] so that we can proceed to investigate the issues further?

Thanks, Anglee, I will write directly to Alex later this week. Just FYI, the problem was communicated to [email protected] a week ago (but, alas, with no response).

Best,

K

First of all, thanks to everyone who responded in a civilized manner; hope to discuss the problem more in detail with Alex next week.

IMO, it is obvious, however, that, in order to avoid any misunderstandings, download stats shall reflect net trade figures just like it has been done at other MS agencies, and not some kind of total download count regardless of, say, duplicate and refunded dls, etc.

Even more interestingly, as of today, the statistics line Downloads: and consequently, any download figures at www.123rf.com/myfavimages.php > My Images > Sort by No. of download have disappeared at all... The same is valid for contributor's view of image download stats at http://www.123rf.com/photo<_image #>.html... Just a glitch? Or deliberate action in order to make our earning stats even more non-transparent? In any case, after a look at screenshots with all the discrepancies described in my OP, my copyright agent is really interested...

Also, I think it is obvious that at this point, some comment here from Alex would be more than appropriate (to say the least)...

BTW, according to earlier postings (see www.microstockgroup.com/123royaltyfree-com/here-we-go-again-123rf/), the problem persists at least since September 2009.

Also, to my knowledge, it was stated rather clearly that what I expect is meaningful comments and experience of others with similar download stats discrepancies, not bare emotions and rude attitude. Thanks.

38
Well, Thomas, let me put it in a different wording: "Would you please be so kind to refrain from making irrelevant wow-style comments. Many thanks in advance."

@ Claude: Nothing personal, really (even in spite of your BTW addendum). Obviously, I just don't appreciate unsubstantial speculations when it comes to money, no matter how princely amounts are involved.

Thanks a lot, UncleGene! This is what I forgot to say in my OP: no, AFAIK, I do not donate!... :)

123rf went trough some upgrades lately. ..

I guess they still have some bugs to fix...

Claude

Pls., relevant comments/experiences only!

TIA!

Important: To date, 15% of downloads are not reported in earnings stats!

Interestingly enough, as I just noticed, there are large download (and, obviously, earning!) count discrepancies between figures at www.123rf.com/myfavimages.php > My Images and www.123rf.com/submit/commission.php -- even taking into account the refund to-and-fro download math at www.123rf.com/submit/downloaded_stats.php.

In other words, assuming the summarized download count at  www.123rf.com/myfavimages.php > My Images for my port equals to 100%, the Downloads Total at www.123rf.com/submit/commission.php shows only about 85% of dls, with earnings reduced accordingly (!)... (Just one example in order to be more specific: at My Images, an image has a statistics of 9 dls, while scrolling through the monthly stats at www.123rf.com/submit/downloaded_stats.php shows only 6 dls and no refunds.)

Needless to say, I have properly documented all the above -- and looking forward for immediate and efficient reaction from the 123RF side. Also, it goes without saying that I will not hesitate to be in touch with my copyright agency, should a necessity arise.

P.S. Just to avoid any misunderstandings: I use static IP for years, do not donate to 123RF and have no habit to download anything from my ports for free...

P.P.S. BTW, according to earlier postings (see www.microstockgroup.com/123royaltyfree-com/here-we-go-again-123rf/), the above problem and "growing difficulties" so nicely described by alex123rf persist at least since September 2009.

123RF / Re: Help us Review some Russian Translations
« on: April 18, 2010, 09:32 »
Hi Contributors,

I'm trying to reach out to our Russian contributors, can those of you who are well versed in Russian help me review some translations, kindly email me at [email protected]. I'll send you an Excel file for reviewing.

I'll be very grateful for your help!

Alex.
for 123RF.com

Quite frankly, I can't imagine a *professional* translation agency asking for photographic freebies from language pros who are "well versed in photography"... Just FYI, decent EN > RU editing rates start at ca. EUR 35.00 per hour.
