think of it as a path of learning photography or pick up of new skills. in this way it makes your purpose easier.. if you set a goal of how much to earn..it will kind of disappointed sometimes. Once you are getting regular earning, your one day earning can more than your one month earnings as newbie.
diverse portfolio, as some photos are earning more in microstock..some nice photos may not get the same returns.

a must is to fill in jpg with IPTC data with keywords, then use ftp transfer.. then you can start to flood all sites with your images..

Hi guys,
any good recommendation of free video editing software?
what is the format u usually submit? it is .mov right?
windows movie maker seem doesn't export as mov.. i use the mpeg streamclip before but it seems no option to adjust some brightness and contrast.. sometimes needs some post process on the video.

there is a batch process for panthermedia which i think it is easy to submit. Alamy batch process also make it possible to submit as batch.. what is worse than istock?
@cidepix If you recommend other photographers to not join panthermedia, you should give the other photographers a chance to understand why and us a chance to respond. Reasons may be very subjective due to portfolio size or content or any other reason that may not apply to everybody else. Thanks.
Robert
I believe Cidepix is free to express his opinion without having to explain himself. And he did explain himself; PM doesnt generate enough sales.
I advice photographers as well not to join PM. You generate no significant number of sales, and your uploading process is extremely tedious, right up there with Alamy. Furthermore, on the poll on the right you are in the bottom tier, low earners. You were middle tier a year ago. This implies that most contributors here have seen a drop in sales. So thats why. Hope that helps.

Hi all,
I think this is kind of silly question, but how do I login my own website for managing everything?
the symbiostock is a theme of wordpress so, we will login the wordpress interface to manage everything.
I got lost a bit where to login after a while.. i use 'please log-in' link on my website and i can login to wordpress dashboard.
But isn't the 'please log-in' is for user to buy image?
got a bit confused.. I hosted the site on godaddy, so does it mean I don't need to login godaddy after I set ftp and some basic setting?

« on: October 17, 2013, 10:54 »
i used the apple motion picture codec i think, but i put the quality full, as i think it is just from mov to mov.. but it seems it is not this case?
I don't know why the original file from camera is 16MB but resave as another MOV make it 200MB?
