Shoot Raw! Expose to the right and try http://www.isl.co.jp/SILKYPIX/english/ (no, no referral link, they don't have them *sigh*, but simply the best raw converter in terms of image quality I know of) Hope that helps, SY

By using the istock release, obviously without logo etc, did anybody ever had problems with the reference to "law of Alberta, Canada"? SY

After many tries I recently got admitted at IS one thing I made different to the previous attempts was to write into the comment field WHY and HOW I had taken that particular shoot. Hope that helps, SY

Just got an EL at 123rf (here my referral link for the ones who want to join) and earned $36.75 for one image, that is the highest amount I got ever for a single sale, here the image:

Hi, I searched the forums for information about the "ideal" model release, means a release accepted by every stock site. The solution seems to be to use the istock release and just delete any icons etc that refer to istock. But then it still says "by the laws of Alberta, Canada". So I am from the UK, my models (hopefully) are from the UK, how do I explain the reference to Canada???

The reason I ask is: We are trying to get the first UK Ballyhoo going and I need a model release that is valid for everybody.
I also need a simple liability waiver for the participants in this events and and a simple property release where the owner of the place (a farm) agrees to the shoot and the use of the images (just in case, more a formality really) does anybody have an idea where to get these from, Thanks SY

In case you're still not on LO here my referral link (just out of habit ;-)

Yes! Do so and if you can include also "images uploaded" that would be perfect ;-) I agree, they started off at the same time as snapvillage - but what a difference. Only thing is - I would love to know WHO they are, also if I have my suspicions (positive ones ;-) SY

I have been using microsoft software for about 20 years now with only a few minor problems.  I know lots of people who blame everything that goes wrong on microsoft when it is often down to operator error :)

Do you remember the launch of Windows98? See
here
what happened. But I agree all is down to the operator, or was it the guy on his left? What was his name again ? SY

Microstock Monitor / Re: MicrostockMonitor.com goes online!
« on: July 11, 2007, 12:48 »
Nice work Daneel, gut gemacht! Why don't you put a little "press release" together including one or two images/ screen shoots for people to copy and paste in their blogs? The easier you make it for us the more are willing to put something up, plus a reciprocal link to "friends" or "people that recommend MicroStockMonitor" would also not go astray, SY

Yes, if you sort a search by "most downloaded" you can see it. Some sales don't seem to be realistic, seem to be from the testing phase. SY
