I just looked on my tablet nd my desktop and they also look the same. I am confused why you have the Categories where they are located. It is very distracting for me and I have to go down to see any samples of your photographs.

I am from the beach area of sourthen los angeles county. This is the coolest summer I can ever remember, we are still getting a off ocean cold front moving in every evening bring night time temps into the mid 60's F. Further inland they have broken or neared all time highs. Death Valley recorded a temp over 125. Las Vegas had temps at 119F, tourists were told not to wear sandals because they could get severe burns from the black top streets and parking areas.

"An extraordinary amount of arrogance is present in any claim of having been the first in inventing something" [Benoit Mandelbrot]
But, Benoit, how could anybody ever claim to be second in inventing something?
Ask edison about that

I have spent the last 30min reading through this thread. Hmm... It seems this post has become more about mocking me for taking the right business decisions and desperately trying to hold on to ones own wrong ones. When arguments stop making sense, mocking helpfully steps in.
Have a good one. Y
when arrogance and self promotion is so blatant one invites criticism. And when did you become the king of business?

I prefer a fixed f/stop lens. I do not want to have to think changing the shutter speed if I zoom in and out of a scene. Able to shoot on the big end at that 2.8 for that shallow depth of field is real nice. I recently sold my kit 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 lens and bought a 17-55mm 2.8.

"I have some prototypes of Nokia phones that we are testing in the excess of 40+ mpixel. Even if downsized to 46mb uncompressed tif (8bit, or 16mpixel) they produce better quality than any DSLR. Hardly any fringing. Trust me. Now if you combine that info with the huge amount of apps available to further enhance your images, we are looking at a real game changer"
No, you aren't. It isn't the camera. It's the planning. It's the talent. It's the releases. It's the trust. A bunch of editorial phone snaps from the crowd isn't going to change commercial stock. And the size of the sensor isn't going to change the success rate of crowd journalism sites.
And apparently the tiny lens on these $600 phones is MUCH better than any $2k L lens? It must be for the quality to be "better than any DSLR". What utter nonsense.
Well you will see for yourself. I understand your standpoint but you will bite your words in two years from now. It's not about the optics you see, it is about the size of the optics relative to the sensor size, at which camera phones have a clear advantage.
Everything is about the optics, no matter what size sensor you have, if it has bad optics quality will suffer.

Considering the deal that Istock/Getty did with Google and the this group was trying to stop this deal and throw in a bit of a protest, i find Yuri going exclusive with them sort of a slap in the face and his attitude bordering on huberis

Has anyone goven the idea of including mobile photography (cell phone or high end point and shoot) areas to the site?
And also creating an area for Facebook banner style photos in low res?

I was lookout at some of the other sites and noticed that ones of the sites had a feature that I would love to replicate. He had the capacity to show Similar Images when viewing one of his images. How is this done?

I thought I did would that be under the resources are of the php.ini? is so this is what is in there now. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ; Resource Limits ; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds ; http://php.net/max-execution-time; Note: This directive is hardcoded to 0 for the CLI SAPI max_execution_time = 30 ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data. I just tried to do a test purchase to see if the photos would be properly re sized. I got thru the PayPal process and read the email that was sent to my test account. Except the email did not have any instructions on how to get the images? Where are those instructions located?
