Hi there, I know this is an old topic, but i'm just curious... why aren't you at SS ? Don't like it for some reason, don't want to try it, or some other reason ? I'd just like to know as it's everyone else's best selling site, so... i figure you can be only on SS, now everywhere BUT SS seems a bit odd.  Regards Francisco Leito

More or less my thoughts... but we never know... if they sell, it's worth it... but you're right... it's rather difficult to put yourself on the market right now... and if the business rises it will be taken by the ones already established...
But they have a rather nice image and general feel...

I just received a couple of days ago an invitation to join thephotostorage.com. Didn't read it much, it's just another stock site, but did anyone also received that invitation ?? Is anyone already there ? What are the feelings ??

You need to get more images on IS - the ratio of DLs to portfolio size can be quite high there. My two best ratios are (by far) IS at 10.3:1 and SS at 7.6:1.
Yes, i really do... i know that, but that piece of software is so lame... i don't have time and patience for it  It's kinda awkward that such a good site, one of the best if not the best performer has such a sub standard uploading system... probably they do it to scare people away...

I also don't keep those kind of stats, but i'll let you in on my revenue per download...
SS: 0,252
DT: 0,819
FT: 0,424 (not counting with affiliation which is about 50% of my income)
IS: 0,283
LO: 4,212 (one EL does the thing...)
So DT is clearly the best (LO doesn't really count, because it has so few downloads)... if only they had the DL numbers of SS and IS...
And one other interesting number (IMO)... the ratio between Downloads and number of portfolio pictures.
SS: 6,62
DT: 0,47
FT: 0,20
IS: 0,85
LO: 0,03
Here we can see the importance and excellent performance of SS, as it's the only one where i can make more downloads then portfolio pics almost every month.

I only had 8 sales since i joined, late last year. One of them has been an EL tough, so that's not so bad.
But my feelings are still rather undefined about this one... i like the style, but they don't seem to take off anymore.

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum a nd a contributor to several microstock sites who have just been accepted to Istock. I became amazed when i found out that there was no FTP upload, nor any other easy way to do it.
So my question is, how do you upload to Istock ? or, What's the best way of getting your sent pics to Istock ?
