I'm a diamond independent.  By chance, I did a search a few days ago on "salad", and was really happy that several of my images were on the front page.  I just tried that again, and they have disappeared from view.  I stopped searching after the first few pages.

It's early Monday morning here, and I think I'll just go back to bed and have a little cry.   :'(

Yep.  My best sellers have dropped several pages.  This doesn't look good.

Sales have plummeted for me this week.  For the whole week I've made less than what I would normally make in a day.

After all the shenanigans at IS lately, I'm not about to complain about Shutterstock's login process.

230
Anybody remember the last piece of GOOD news from IS?  I can't.

231
Yes.  It has picked up for me also.

232
Much better site!  Great improvement.  Just wish I could get a sale every now and then.

233
Much appreciated!  Thank you for your diligence.

I'm going to try to be optimistic about the future changes.

Absolutely ridiculous!  Just another reason why Congress needs to pass this: www.fairtax.org

Since the buyout, my sales have dramatically increased.  This month has been an exception, though.  Sales are way down.

Paypal strikes again!

"Hi

Due to an issue with Paypal, your Veer royalty payment has been slightly delayed.  Paypal has assured us that they have corrected the issue, and we will be able to send all scheduled payments by the end of next week.

Our apologies for the delay.  Please let us know if you have any questions.

Wow!  This is amazing.  Would any of these pass Istock's inspection?

Well, I made it!  Just barely broke the 400 level.

Wow!  Just had a ton of images rejected for all kinds of reasons.  I was sure that I would reach the 400 image target.  I don't think it will happen now.  Anybody else have surprising rejections lately?

All of this reminds me of why I love Shutterstock.

Don't kid yourself. You'll eventually need vaseline over there too.

Well, they don't have a track record of screwing over contributors.  They keep it simple.  In the 4 1/2 years I've been there, there has never been a decrease in contributor's share.  There have been increases though.  I like it.  You could be right.  I don't know.  I just know about my past experience and it's been good.

Wow!  This is bad across the board.....exclusives and non-exclusives.  A few months ago they enticed contributors to go exclusive with the guaranteed next level (total downloads) and now we're being hit with this.  Glad I didn't make the jump, but I'm still getting a big cut.

I like CanStockPhoto.  Regular sales have been inching upwards and the Fotosearch sales are nice.

Maybe that info is only available for a RM image.

Reviews have been quick for me, just like they used to be with StockXpert and only a few rejections.  Nothing like crestock.  I still think some old StockXpert buyers will use them instead of the site that closed StockXpert down.  I will give them some time to get the site going, they said they were going to build it up slowly, so I don't understand why people are surprised when they are doing that.

I agree.  Reviews have been quick for me also.  Sure, I've had rejections that I didn't understand, but that happens with every agency.  Definitely much different that Crestock.....at least for me.

Congratulations Lisa.  I'd be happy to just make gold.

I get sporadic emails as and when they feel like it, so rhyme or season. I make sales every day, but only get 1 or 2 notifications a week.

Mystery!

Same here.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Model Release
« on: July 18, 2010, 09:53 »
If a buyer wishes to see the signed model release, do the agencies make this available to him?
No. A buyer has to be satisfied with the agency's assurance there is a valid MRF on file. That's enough warranty. Why would he need the MRF for, with all the private information? You can guess...

Yeah.  That was my concern.  For some reason, it never occurred to me until now.  Thanks for the info.
