No expiry was sent to me either but I still completed a return. I have since contacted support to confirm and they have confirmed that they have TIN but I am still pending payment 30th November. Also, for audio we don't get our October royalties till Feb. What is happening with IS ?

Well I have just has a batch accepted for editing keywords but nothing has changed. Still the same 3 groups and no option for editorial or is there something I should click, instigate, sign etc for this new procedure to happen ?

I recall daring to criticise them all those years ago and getting shot down in flames by a lot in the forums who have since been bitten on the backside by Istock. I saw the early signs but many were wearing Istock tinted sunglasses.

Thank you for your time and effort.
I was then informed when going to my account that I had missed my deadline (I never received any deadline email) deadline for submitting my tax details so I will now be charged US tax as a Uk resident. I was told that if I still gave them my details I may still be in with a chance, or reduced tax (to paraphrase) I then proceeded to fill in the "interview" which went ok until I got to the page where I fill in my US tax number I acquired years ago (they already have these details) they asked for another number below that which is nothing to do with me as a Uk resident. If I left it blank it would not let me proceed further. If I put N/A or anything else it told me it was the wrong info so could not proceed further. I opeted to then fill in a W8BEN form which when it appeared on the screen, had all my details bar the tax number. There was no way of entering the number so I just submitted it. I then received a later email saying because I had not given my tax number, tax royalties are to be immediately deducted with no way of getting them back. As an audio contributer I did fill in my tax details when it went over to Getty so why again ?
It's confusing and very unfair as I am at a loss what to do. I have submitted a form to Getty but as they never really respond I don't hold out much hope.
All I want to do is stop them taking tax from my already faltering earnings and give them my number but they make it so so hard.

Changing keyword priority seems to have worked getting images seen in the search engine but sadly this has made no difference to sales. What I can't understand is my best images (that sell almost every day on SS) are not getting any sales, even now they come up in the search.

I thought all images on microstock were royalty free. Do you mean that any editorial on Alamy is exclusive ? I sell the same image on SS as editorial.

Sorry, I selected royalty free before I posted this question. I am now unable to change it as it is greyed out. The only way I can do this is to delete it ?

I have editorial images that I want to sell on Alamy but I see no option to select Editorial except royalty free or rights managed. With SS for example you can clearly select "editorial" on submission but nowhere on Alamy is any option.
Can anyone please direct me or do they not take editorial ?

Ok, they seem to he showing now so I am wondering if there is some delay in the images being picked up after I re-keyworded ? If so, I don't mind at all.
One more thing, is the title or caption or the image description more crucial ? Also, is it important to state time, place and date for better sales ?
If all that has been stopping me getting sales is my keywording I will happlily take back all the criticism I have made.

I am wondering why I don't get any sales and now I see. When I search on the Alamy front page with keywords, it fails to bring up my images even though I have ALL the keywords I put in the search. I have looked carefully at my images, checked all the keywords are there and yet the search engine fails to show them. This is why I don't get sales I believe because their algorythm fails.

I hate their time consuming 3 tier keywording because I know that however many images I upload, it makes no difference as I still get zero sales.

Yes but all keywords in one box. Alamy require sub keywording = more time.

I like Alamy and am glad they're doing well. I just don't think my work is right for the buyers they have. With 600 images I'm pocketing about $10 per month. Thats an RPIPM of .01 cent. Not a profitable use of time unfortunately.
Same here. I get a sale every blue moon despite constantly uploading more images. Trying to work out their style and hopefully will get there but 3 sales this year is disappointing.
