I made a video tutorial for buyers....how to use seamless vector patterns.
It's not about creating them (that's my job ;D)
It seem there are buyers out there who use Illustrator and don't know how to remove the gradient.
More then once people contacted me via sitemail and via my website.

Well, we all had to start somewhere, so here's a little help;

Experienced Illustrator users......don't even mind clicking here.  ;D

iStockPhoto.com / Submitting Flash to Istock

Submitting Flash to Istock.
Is it worth the hassle? Do Flash files sell?
And how about the future?
We got Silverlight now, Adobe air, other webdesigners still prefer javascript.
Anybody here who is submitting Flash and would like to share some thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

It has come to my attention that the movie "Mirrors" has displayed one of my images, along with another stockphoto!
I watched the movie myself yesterday and it's true, no doubt about it!
My image is on IS, SS, StockXpert and DT as an illustration, but I have also a low resolution photo on Stock.XCHNG. I think they used the one on SXC!
That would mean that I  didn't receive any money at all. And they should had ask me permission and giving me credit, which they didn't!

This is my image:

And this one is from Leah-Anne Thompson:

Dreamstime.com / Dreamstime's preview image sharpening!
« on: May 30, 2008, 14:08 »
Hi folks,
Can I have your opinion please!

What's wrong with Dreamstime's preview images?
I think there is way too much sharpening!
See the difference between StockXpert and DT. I uploaded the exact same JPG to both sites.

StockXpert.com / Promoting your StockXpert portfolio on SXC.
« on: March 10, 2008, 13:06 »
As most of you already know; SXC has more than twice the traffic as StockXpert has, and SXC has also a feature that allows you to promote your StockXpert portfolio from your SXC portfolio by putting a banner on your profile page!
But now I have find a way to promote your StockXpert portfolio even more, and I wanted to share this with you.
Why am I sharing this secret with you, you may ask!
Well simple; the more SXC downloaders head over to StockXpert, the more traffic StockXpert gets, and I will benefit from that as well!  ;D
Here's the tip:
Put a good quality image on SXC and integrate in some way your StockXpert work in it, so you can put a link to your StockXpert portfolio in the description of that image!
My guess is that people read descriptions more often than that they read someone's profile!
Besides, I think the StockXpert banner on the profile page is not very obvious and can be easily overlooked!
Here's mine to give you an idea:

iStockPhoto.com / Istock's "Most Popular files" back in action!
« on: November 03, 2007, 13:19 »
Istock's "Most Popular Files" is back in action!
Finally. ;D

Do you think it will increase sales for those that are in it?
Are customers also checking the most popular files?
