I think high moral character sounds better. For advertism it sounds more positive, while "we do not do photography...", or "we specialize in creating photos.." sounds far more resticting and more negative for advertism. And for many people it is an issue of morality so his selection of words for people who search for photographers who do photos with a "high moral character" sounds better.

Oh I see, yeah, I would not shoot them too, although it seems quite popular to do such photography. Yes its good to say this to be able to refuse such projects.. But you need some more pictures on the websites :-)

Hi Greg,
I looked through the stockxpert site, but I couldn't find an email adress. Under the link:"contact us" they asked to use a form to write a message which is under this "contact us" link. So it seems like you have to log in your self to use their messaging form. But however, if you want, I can send them a message for you from my account. Although I do not know how often I will be online this weekend, so it might take a day..

I've had my best ever few days there, helped by three Extended License downloads but ignoring those, lots of downloads. Better than last week and definitely better than some other sites that seem slower in June.
It seems like you got my customers phildate :-)

Whats up with fotolia, I had no sale for a few days, which is unusual. And my images have as low views as they had several month ago when I had 30% less images on Fotolia. Anyone noticed that for his/her images too?

Thanks Madelaide,
yeah I just discovered Coreldraw. I didnt know that either. I just wanted to know if it is worth it. I guess it is not as good as PS Illustrator CS or CS2. But even then. Only 40 Euro compared to ~500 for PS CS2... I just do not want to spend 500 Euro..without knowing if I am even good at doing Vector images so that I can sell them.

I have a question for creating Vektor Images. Which sofware would be better: CorelDraw 11 or PS Illustrator CS. I have seen CorelDraw for just arround 40 Euro. Is it worth it?

Do you guys had a general increase of earnings compared to last month? I only uploaded a few more pictures maybe 2-5% but had an increase of about 25% of income compared to April.

I do not think, that you have to be exclusive on DT to use RM, but we will see..

Any reason for that ordering?
Yes, because there you get the most money for effort. Fotolia has ftp, but it still takes a little to long to finish them after they are uploaded. Fotolia is a bit slow..

All the Big Three SS, IS, DT at once and then maybe Stockxpert and fotolia..

Yes I am sorry for that, I would consider that silly too, but mistakes happens, everywhere not only DT and that is no reason to totally reject DT.

Even if they were accepted at other agencies, DT might think differently about your images. That they are accepted at SS does not make them good. However they have an issue with noise as we know. IS accepted photos which were not accepted on SS. DT accepeted phots which were not accepted at IS and SS and also sold. So you really cannot say an image is good or bad if it is accepted or not from the agencies. But yes you can see a tendency.. I belief you can find a lot of good images on DT, which have good quality and in general good quality photos gets accepted on DT.

If they attracted 10000 photographers, they should have reasonable downloads I guess.. And then you can just wait 4 * the time and you will get the payout. But I know what you mean. I have the problem with Bigstock. Somehow my photos does not sell very well there while they sell quite good on other sites. I guess I need arround 10 years to get a payout from them...

Hi, sure, I guess we all can complain about the reviewers. I think in general they are doing a good job at DT. Sometimes it seems silly. But what do you expect? If an image is borderline one reviewer might except it and one don't. And some might make mistakes. You allways find someone complaining about the reviewers, wether it is SS, DT, IS, BS or Fotolia. I do not agree that it would be good to have 3 reviewers reviewing an image. Especially for DT. They give us at least 50%! Much much better than so many other sites and they are one of the big three. However, mainly you and not DT will loose when you take your images off their site because you will earn much less. There are many who prefer DT over other sites who won't take off their images. I have pity with the reviewers. Going through thousands of images every day and allways getting complaints.

This month Dreamstime is really catching up for me. I have more Fotos there than on Shutterstock, but all the time shutterstock was the best earner, even with less amount of pictures. Since this month Shutterstock earnings looks really good, but DT is a Dollar ahead. Istock has the best per picture sells, but I just have so few photos there..

Probably one reason for more friendly relationships is that a lot of people are doing that just for fun, while they earn most of their money somewhere else. For many it might be not as much a serious business... as it might be with macro..

Hi Leaf,
you might be right, it certainly is not worth my time, but maybe for those who hang arround just to wait excited for a new Dl and having nothing else to do. However, the 2 cents are symbolical as Dt says. On the other hand we might help these photographers who cannot really speak english.

Oh, even with a 3mp pic you can earn 1.50 $ Just had sold one.. You are right, good prices, but I guess I have the wrong motives. While penguins sell quite well on other sites, on Stockxpert no one Dls them..

wow, fotolia did really well for you.
Did you sell many extended licesnes? I sold one for 10.00, but i mostly have them priced at $50.00. perhaps a little high.
Hi Leaf, I think I had two extended licenses this month, my prices are mostly 10-20 Dollar for Extended licenses. Totally I had 4 Extended licences downloaded. Yes Fotolia did very well for me.., but you have to consider, that my earnings are not very good from SS, IS,DT in comparison to yours. I have only 116 Images on SS. So the Extended Licenses are boosting the Fotolia earnings. I never had one at SS.
