Actually the most recent change i did yesterday was to install imagmajik
I haven't installed imagmajik ... so problem seems to be located somewhere else.

Deactivated Social Media Feather plugin and still get this warnings when I try to update public image info:

Just opened a thread, sorry haven't seen yours.
I updated to WP 3.6, I guess I updated the Captcha plugin.
But I just remembered that I recently installed Social Media Plugin, which puts a small twitter icon on each image page ... perhaps that is disturbing something?

Ajotte just braught to my attention that my publich image info files are empty and indeed, when I try to update the public network and image info I get this:

Just FYI everyone using Bluehost, HostMonster, and HostGator, there is a massive outage going on right now. If your site is down, it's probably not anything to do with your site, symbiostock, wordpress, etc.
You're right, my site was still working perfectly after the update of WP. All problems later the day were caused by Bluehost ... they even managed to crash their own site

My website is up but neither the Bluehost control panel nor the FTP server can be accessed so far.
Same here ... I really hope this situation is an exception ...

A lot of good photographers (including myself  from countries where Paypal is not working (Russia (well, Russia only to some degree), Belarus, Ukraine) cannot use Symbiostock.
I didn't know that, I thought Paypal would work worldwide. Isn't it working for buyers from these countries, too?

.... while I have little interest in playing the twitter game, at least there's a chance there of attracting real people ....
I totally understand, actually I'm not a big friend of all this social media stuff. But I decided to give twitter a chance for a while and see what the effect will be. Working in the internet, it's probably not wise to refuse the use of these tools. I just tweeted a 24hour discount of 25% for one of my images and plan to keep doing this for a while (I'm not sure how often I should do it reasonably ... perhaps twice a week?) I'm really curious whether there will be a noticeable effect ...

I am getting sales, not every day but enough to give me the enthusiasm to keep uploading - which I had just about stopped doing elsewhere
That's good to hear.
I want to jump on board, but for me to invest the time, I'll need to hear (and believe) that multiple people are having several sales every day... not a fluke sale now and again, but regular sales at a predictable level.
Name the agencies that give you no zero sales days. I can only name 2 - SS and FT. But thats me. Its not realistic to expect no zero sales days selling direct on a new project.
Same for me ... nobody but SS an FT sells my photos daily. For a new project like Symbiostock it will take some months untill the fun can really start (actually I haven't had daily sales on SS and FT in my early days there) ... So what I will do now: I start uploading my new photos on my own site, wait till they are indexed by Google before I upload them anywhere else ... the rest is patience

I am not an expert for web, codes etc. Maybe it's not to hard, but I don't have much time to learn...
So I am waiting complete optimization and excellent tutorial which can explain literally everything, step by step...
It's too experimental for me, because I have no will to learn about web....
I 100% agree with what Borg says, This is what's holding me back at the moment too.

My problems with 1und1 are almost forgotten ... but if I remember it correctly I was not able to process an image larger than 10 MB (quite sure that it was like that) and if I remember Leo correctly your host should offer you more than the 80 MB php memory you can get from 1und1 (I guess it was at least 96 MB or even more, but I'm not sure about that ... anyone around who remembers that? )
