Really funny. It says one reason may be credit card fraud. They have accepted it to the point it is part of the standard email. But of course if it was credit card fraud the customer has agreed they have not used it and have destoyed their copy.. Ha Ha.

Image Sleuth / picasa
« on: October 26, 2011, 19:43 »
why would someone steal images just for there Picasa album to put online?? Strange. Did a google search of my image s and found one in this Picasa album. Quite a few others don't belong to him as well. Really funny thing is you can open mine image and right click on them and find the real author in the EXIF LOL.

In "my pictures" what a laugh! Some even have the photographers name on them.

Image Sleuth / wallpaper shots
« on: October 26, 2011, 19:32 »
came accross usage of my images that was linked to a wallpaper (computer backgrounds) site in LA.

http://www.desktopwallpaperhd.com/

It appears you can copy HD (television) size and use them. Then of course other groups use these images on the web perhaps without the knowledge that it is not legal. All up at 1920x1080 so why buy, just copy. This site is in LA, USA. Very little on the site to make contact. They are on FB and  appears they just give away wallpaper  (our images)??

Image Sleuth / 60gb of stock!

DOwnload use? Download sell? Upload as a contributer?

Sort of hard to fight but it would be interesting to know where they got them. It should be noted that one is identified as Shutterstock stock as a big chunk. Scary.

Off Topic / AL-QEADA UNDER THREAT
« on: July 21, 2011, 00:07 »

They have gone too far this time. They have used a picture of the Sydney Opera House in a bomb making manual. Of course it is supposed to be copyrighted and of course they are now in trouble with the Sydney Opera House Trust who believe they own the copyright. See you in court Al-Qeada. Also the Sydney Opera house Trust should sue the photographer, microstock site and publisher. Nice photo wonder if they bought it off the Sydney Opera House Trust and paid royalty. LOL

Veer / veer a wasted effort for new contributors?
« on: January 21, 2011, 03:01 »
I had never tried Veer and decided to put up some images. I put up 260 , 230 got in. It took some long I lost interest in putting up more of my portfolio. I put up ok sellers but the at Veer next to no views and no sales. Is the customer base low? DO new contributors' images get put low in best match to a slow death?

General Stock Discussion / approval times
« on: November 14, 2010, 23:36 »
I thought IS was slow but veer is painful. I am sure others are trying to spread their files around with IS imploading. WHy can't the other others step up to the plate to inspect more and grow. IS is throwing away its lead. Veer and SS and FT shouldn't just be complacent. Time for change.
