Took the survey, and went through the extra couple of steps with the email and all to sign up for the draw. All is good!

I use PowerDirector 9 and it is very good and easy to use. So I would say that 12 with all the additions from 9 that it would be a good one.

« on: October 25, 2013, 16:11 »
I sent 2 videos in and went through all the steps to get them into pending and all was fine for about 2 hours. Then they just vanished, not in pending, not in on line files, not in rejected, no where to be found! I posted on the message board but no response about it yet (8-9 hours ago) I am now thinking that maybe might have to wait until the whole thing is up and running to let them get past the bugs.

From the Alamy site "The changes come in on 30th November 2013 so if you have $100 or over cleared in your account by December 1st youll get paid in the December pay run". Just in time for Christmas to get that last gift (after the fees for Paypal of course)

Agree, glad you did split it back up. Makes it a lot easier to read.

Just found a ton of my images on Pond5 with a 5@. Not a clue as to which site they came from. Anyone have any ideas?

Photos setting in Processing Queue all day today, never had that happen before. Anyone else having that issue?

Does Pond5 accept RM video and photos? If so, is anyone doing it and getting sales?

So I read this and thought I would try a few, you guessed it......they rejected some as being to similar and already have some that are from the same batch! So maybe only a selected few can get a whole batch accepted?

Is anyone having problems with using suggest feature on this? It was working fine then now for the last few days it keeps saying that it cannot find any matching keyword no matter what keyword I put in. Everything else works but that for me.

Newbie Discussion / Re: A growing mess, what's your filing system?
« on: February 20, 2013, 07:24 »
I might be a little different...but, this is how I do it
I made folders for each stock site, in each of those folders I have 6 folders in it (model release, accepted, rejected, pending, hold and deactivated) Then all I do is put a file in the main folder that is ready to send to stock until I am ready to send it then I put it in the folders that it falls into (such as if it is pending it is in that folder and then once accepted or rejected it would go in that file) The other file that I have in the main folder of all stock sites is a used file folder that I can check to see if I have ever used it before.
Sounds goofy I am sure but it is very simple to use and see at a glance everything that is going on at each stock site

Alamy.com / Re: any tips&tricks for keywording
« on: January 22, 2013, 07:40 »
What I do is upload in batches, then use prostockmaster to find my keywords then keyword on Alamy in a batch with one copy and paste. Can do a ton in just a few min using the batch feature.

Okay, even though I have a very small port and no one knows who I am to include Istock, I have started deactivating (2 as of right now and will go back and do more on the 2nd)

I use Firefox and 123 works fine for me, with that said I also had a little problem with one site (not 123) and then found that I had two firewalls running at the same time and once I turned one of them off all is good.

« on: October 02, 2012, 05:50 »
I had the same error message yesterday but found that if I turned off the windows firewall and let Norton handle the firewall it all worked fine and was able to get my upload  sent in. Seems like I had two firewalls running at the same time and that can cause issues sometimes.

Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia rejecting everything lately
« on: November 11, 2011, 10:19 »
I know this a old post but it falls right in with what is going on now. Sent in 20 photos with the same model in 3 different outfits (complete change of clothes) in 4 different locations at and around the beach. I Made sure to put different titles on them to have a good mix. Had 15 of them rejected for similar! So then I sent in 50 photos of all kinds of things and only 3 of them of a person, they inspected and rejected 25 of them in 2 min and then rejected all but 5 in the next 4 hours all in all only 4 for technical and the rest for "did not meet desired level of aesthetic quality".
Is anyone else having these problems or am I just lucky

Not sure what is going on here, have had 100% rejection for the last month. These are the same ones that are getting approved at IS and DT. Even sent in a few on a retry and those thrown out again also. Is any one getting anything approved? And if so, what is it?

StockFresh / Re: Any News?
« on: May 13, 2011, 16:08 »
So, after 8 months of waiting I sent a message to them on Monday asking why such a long wait for a yes or no and why some have been accepted in as little as a week or two and others 6-8 months or longer like me. Waited 4 days and no answer, so I sent another message asking why they are not answering me...got a reply real fast...we don't need your work and that I should look at their best sellers with a link to 4 pages of Yuris sales and that I could try again in one month. After a lot of thought (almost 3 seconds) I have decided to NOT worry about it and NOT try again. Or is every one making a fortune on there and I should beg them to let me put my garbage photos on their site and try to sell there?

123RF / Re: Poor lighting/composition
« on: April 12, 2011, 08:30 »
So, if I crop the photo just a hair and adjust the lighting just a hair I should be able to send it back in with the poor composition and lighting fixed,...right? And of course I am talking about the ones that have been approved at other sites and might have even had a sale. Or should I just say to myself that I guess they just do not want it and let it go?

25
So, I read through a bunch of the reviews about new uploads and people making sales and moving up a tier and thought I should get on at this site. So I rushed over to it and filled in all of my stuff for registration and got the email to make it good and all of that but now every time time I click on a page it sends me to a page that says I must pay 35 cents to use paypal as a payment. This is very strange as i have never had to pay anyone else to sell photos. Is this normal?
