Well it's reassuring that we got word from Videoblocks here. I was feeling nervous whether joining was the right thing to do after reading all these problems with getting payed. My uploads were finally approved!
Do contributors get mail for every sale? I don't see options for this in the contributor pages.

You know that contracts are negotiable? Anyway, I like what they are doing with the filtering. SS and P5 have so much crappy footage, I hope they'll do the same thing. Raise the bar and remove the cruft.

I wouldn't know about sales because my uploads have been sitting there for 2+ weeks awaiting approval.

Shutterstock is saying "no recent sales" although it does show the correct royalties in the dashboard. Pond5 also "no recent sales", but again numbers are correct.
I do have recent sales at both agencies.

My sales have plummeted! Zero this month, first time that ever happened. Well there is a few days left so..

P5 has been quiet slow for me in since the beginning of this year. They used to sell as much as SS but not anymore.

I'm also waiting for my payout... But I'm not leaving just yet, I kind of like this company and feel sorry for what they are going through.

I got an invitation to join PIXTA. Never heard of them, it's hard to find more info. But a lot of photo contributors are not too happy with them. And tax issues.
Do any of you contribute there?

I hope they really come up with a way to check statistics. As of now I still don't know if I had any sales last month (november).

For me sales are good here, in terms of dollars they sell more than P5, less than SS. Pretty good for a newcomer. The people that work there are really great, friendly and helpful. Check out the videos they make, they clearly love what they are doing.
What's really needed however, is a contributor page where you can check statistics, adjust prices, etcetera. I also think that 30% is a bit low.

This year in $ for me is 1 Shutterstock 2 Dissolve 3 Pond5
The other agencies combined is less than half of P5 sales.

I have a few sales each month at Motion Elements. Uploading is easy so for me it's worth it. I do think that the Paypal costs are very high, around 5%. All other stock agencies charge nothing!

I also deactivated my account. If you have any respect for your work, you do the same thing.

I'm in the process of deactivating my files and membership of iStock. It's the only way things may change, although they probably won't.

Most buyers don't shop around. If they were, less people would buy my stuff (video) on iStock but go to the cheaper sites such as Pond5.
However, sales on P5 is rising and sales on iS is grinding to a halt.

I'm going to reconsider selling photos then.. Nice quote from the mail: "Through the subscription we are able to reach new customers, additional to the current Fotolia client base, whilst improving your Fotolia credit income, so we are glad you've included your images in this exciting offer."

Got a 3.3 credit footage sale just now and a friend of mine a 1.25 credit HD1080 sale Ohhhh please unchek subscription sale immediately, you're going to kill pond5 !!!!
I am non-exclusivity seller, how i can opt-out from subscription sales?
Doesn anyone know how to disable subscription sales? I've disabled them for video using "Add my exclusive images and video clips to the Fotolia Subscription Program" checkbox, but now I've added a few images and they are selling as subscription.. Got 0,25 for a XXL file..
