Btw, I remember you saying at some point that you don't get enough downloads on SS ( something like only 7 a day, regardless of how many pics you upload ). Did that situation change?

My sales have been 90% subs and 10% ODs since I got accepted in december  Never got a single image sale... How much money do you get for a single download btw?

I'm sitting here, cursing my life since I have a horrible infection after a tooth removal. Never went through so much pain in my entire life. And for everything to be complete, I'm pissed because I had just 3 sales since last Thursday, after getting accepted more than 70 pics on SS. So I really wouldn't mind one of those 90$ sales  Can you send a bit of your luck to me?

They rejected me two times. All those images are accepted even by Shutterstock and some of them are my top sellers. Just applied for the third time but I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble...

@click_click: I didn't even say it was their fault It's just that I never imagined that you can opt in or out for that, I thought I was automatically in. And I don't want to opt out, I want to opt in. Now I'm thinking that I might have missed a few sales and it's a bit annoying, that's why I asked about other websites, I don't want to miss more sales.

I noticed just today that Alamy has opt in/opt out services ( the novel uses and partner sales ). It annoys me to no ends that I was a member there for 6 months and never knew about that.
Are any other websites with such options? I only know about Shutterstock and Alamy.

It seems the creators of PSM are aware of the problem and are working on it. At the moment we have a problem with the keywords suggestion service. All the keywords suggestions queries come with no results. Please allow us a few days to fix the issue.

Yes I know my portfolio is too small to predict sales. The only thing that confuses me is how can this happen at the same time at several websites.
And no, I made a bit more money during those weeks on individual sales. I would sell at least 10 pictures a day. Lots of downloads everyday at SS, Dreamstime, Deposit, Envato, etc, and then BAM 0 downloads no matter where I look. That's why I'm shocked. I would understand this happening to a few websites or I would understand a decrease in sales, but everything went from more than 10 sales a day to 0 everywhere at the same time. I thought something special is happing during this period and I might not be aware of it.

So I was happy that the holidays finally passed and my files began selling again. I had constant sales from the middle of January to last week. Last week was even the best week ever, I made more money in one week than in the last 2 months. And then, last Wednesday, everything died, and my sales were 0 until today.
I understand having weird fluctuations with a small portfolio, but having constant sales on ALL websites and then everything going to 0 on the same day on ALL websites? Isn't that too much of a coincidence? Is something special happening in Europe and US during this period? As far as I know there's no big holiday besides Valentine's Day, but people don't stop working during it, at least in my country.
Sorry if the question seems stupid but stuff like this really makes me lose my confidence. It's too weird that sales stopped on the same day everywhere, after weeks of daily sales.

I uploaded my model releases and added them to each video with the "attach release" option. It shows up in the releases page that they were attached several times so I guess it was successful, but when I look at those videos it's still written "Model Released: No"
At first I thought the website might be slow or something, but more than a week passed and it's still the same. Am I doing something wrong?

Is anyone having problems with using suggest feature on this? It was working fine then now for the last few days it keeps saying that it cannot find any matching keyword no matter what keyword I put in. Everything else works but that for me.
I posted that a few days ago in the Microstock Services forum but nobody replied, I'm happy to finally find out it's not a problem with my computer. But I still don't understand what happened...if any of you find out something, please share!

When I write a keyword and I click "suggest" the error "Can not find any matching keyword/. Try again with another keyword/keyphrase" appears. This happens no matter what I write in there, for any basic word that could cross your mind, so there isn't any problem with the words. Something suddenly happened to the application because it worked fine yesterday, but I'm sure I didn't do anything.
Anyone has any idea or has experienced this before?

And I'm not talking about vectors, just pictures of alphabet shaped things. I have a few ideas and I want to know if it's worth the trouble. I checked Fotolia and saw that some fonts are selling, some not, but I'm more interested about Shutterstock, Dreamstime and other websites.

Even if they told you to resubmit those pictures? It was my mistake to send them again without any notes ( I really didn't notice that box >< ) but if I add a proper note there shouldn't be any problems right?

I need to resubmit some pictures as well, because SS told me to do so! They were rejected for some logos/names and they told me to remove everything and send the pics again. I did that and now they were rejected for other reasons >< I love their logic... Anyway, I want to resubmit them and add a proper note, I don't want to risk annoying them because I'm sending the same pictures for the third time with no apparent reason. But I can't see any box for reviewer notes  There's just the Description/Title/Caption box and the keywords one. Am I blind?

My old files sells good in Fotolia and I think hundreds of images is a small amount to draw conclusions about the sales potential. It is also appropriate to look at longer periods such as year(s).
When you upload at least several thousand images and look back at the past year You will have a more realistic view of Fotolia's ability to sell.
Of course it is very important what kind of portfolio You have...
I know my portfolio is too small to draw conclusions, but I can't help notice that I used to have constant sales with about 40 pics online, and now I have 0 sales with more than 200! And most of those pictures sell well on other websites. I don't know what happened but I guess I can still hope if you say your old files are still selling. Thank you for the answer!

I don't know what happened, but my sales on Fotolia were 0 in January, even after uploading more than 100 pictures! I used to sell at least a few pictures a week even when I had less than 50 pics online.
How Fotolia usually works? Which pictures have a tendency to sell better, old or new files? I want to know if I should stop hoping or not. Among those 100 pictures that I uploaded in January were some of my best ones...

I went to Rejected Photos and it says "Note: Rejected photos will be automatically deleted after 7 days."

Speaking of resubmitting previously rejected images, I also have a question.
I was careless and forgot to make a list of what pictures I've already sent to SS, and not all my rejected pictures are showing up on the website ( I think they are deleted after a while ). So now I don't know exactly if some pictures were rejected or I just didn't upload them yet. I'm scared I might resubmit a few by mistake and they will ban me. Do they really ban you for something like this or you just get a warning?

Shutterstock always reviewed my photos in 3-4 days back in December. Well, a week would be fine too, but I sent some pictures more than 2 weeks ago and there's still no answer...I thought this is happening because of the holidays but didn't even think about the Istock issue
