They are really fast with footage.  I've only submitted footage a couple of times but both times it was approved on the same day.

Photos usually take about a week though.

Pond5 / Re: Photo Pricing for Pond5

I don't think you can actually set the price at $1.  I forgot to change that one time and I got an error saying the price was too low.

I don't think so.

You can really only customize the header.  For the body of the page you basically have 2 templates to choose from.

I went with the dark one just so it doesn't look exactly the same as the FAA page.

A rejection email I got earlier this year included this:

We accept the following forms of identification:

- Passport valid for international travel (not a national passport)

- European Union National Identity Cards, EU Cards (front and back)

- US/Canada drivers license

I think if you live in the US or another major country then a driver license is ok.  If you are from a 3rd world country, as the OP says, then you definitely need a passport.

I had to submit 3 different pieces of id, including my passport to get accepted at SS.

1. USA
2. Cape Verde - (a small archipelago with only 500.000 residents) i get lots of EL'S, OD ,SO and course subs. The sales are spread across all my portfolio.

I don't think that is actually Cape Verde.  The images have a small white circle on the top left to pinpoint the location.  Locations that they can't track seem to show up exactly in the middle of the map with no white circle, which just happens to be where Cape Verde is.

And back to the main topic:
1. USA
2. Colombia
3. Brazil

Yaymicro / Re: Review time slowdown at Yay?
« on: November 20, 2012, 17:18 »
Same thing happened to me.  I had around 200 pics waiting for review and I noticed yesterday that a few of them were rejected and the rest were nowhere to be found.  I'm hoping that there is just some delay between them being accepted and actually showing up in the portfolio.

DepositPhotos / Re: DP and Ajax uploading error?
« on: November 01, 2012, 11:46 »
Usually, to update a part of a webpage the whole page must be reloaded.

Ajax is a way to update just a section of a page without reloading the entire page.

Dreamstime.com / Geo-Location Worth the Effort?
« on: October 24, 2012, 13:02 »
Like the subject says, is it worth the effort to Geo tag your pictures?

This feature really makes the upload process one of the slowest and most cumbersome.

So what do you guys think?  Worth the effort?  Ignore it?

clean and smooth -- for a batch i just set a price and submit to curator - all the IPTC comes through fine

All of my IPTC data comes through in lowercase so I have to manually edit the title and description.  Is that just me?

Also, the city and country come through blank even though I include those as well.
