I was able to fix my app.
I have an iPhone 4 and I am using iOS 6. I have not upgraded to iOS 7 because I read that it would slow down my phone too much.
In any case, I deleted the app and re-installed. I then clicked on "Restore" to get my in-app purchases restored. Everything works now. However, you need to re-enter your login credentials for all the sites which is a bit of a pain.
Cheers,

I got my email today regarding the recoupment.
I sent a support ticket asking for a breakdown of the transactions & file numbers that were overpayments. I'm sure other have done the same. Was anyone successful in getting a more detailed (transparent) breakdown?

I got my first PP for December yesterday. One dl on December 9th for $41.10. No other sales reported yet. Usually once the sales start coming in, it's a steady stream for a couple of days.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I just did more investigation and while this $41.10 sale is showing as "Partner Program", when I go to the image itself, and I look under Partner Program (and not G.I. Sales), it shows as a Getty Images sale. I did not even know that my images were on Getty....I thought they only went to Thinkstock and Photos.com.
This is Getty360, http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=352445 for some reason, they report in the PP and not as GI.
Thanks for the help. Makes sense now.

My daughter.
I went into labor on Christmas day over 4 weeks early.
Congrats! I celebrated Christmas with my 'almost' 3 month old daughter. Very special.

To those already uploading...
Does the website have an FTP, or a multi-upload feature? Does it read metadata or does each image need to be uploaded and keyworded individually.
I'm new to the site, so perhaps I just have not found this yet.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers,

This just in... the power of MSG?
Okay, hands up... we got it wrong and were sorry we messed everyone around.
We recently announced some changes to our payment terms. We lowered the payment threshold from $175 to $100, but introduced fees for some payment options. We completely underestimated the strength of feeling regarding the options that involved fees.
So, the good news is that you can forget everything we previously said. Were now moving the threshold down to $75 and there will be no fees at the Alamy end regardless of which method or currency you choose. Well change the contract again but well be paying out on balances above $75, starting with the December payrun at the beginning of December.
This will mean more of you will get paid more regularly. We respect our photographers, youre important to us and we want to be fair.
Thanks

If you're not selling that content elsewhere now then you really have nothing to lose by giving it a try. You can always get out of the contract in a year (unless they've changed those terms since I was with them). Just be sure you don't have any similars on the MS sites.
It's the similars that worry me. When I travel, I might take a handful of my best shots for MS and the rest goes on Flickr to share with friends/family. So there will most likely be similars on my MS sites. Thanks for your advice.

I have received an invitation to join the Flickr Collection on Getty Images. According to the Contributor Agreement, all content would be on an Exclusive basis. Normally, this would be an automatic "no" for me given that I am an indie on many MS websites. However, most of my Flickr content is vacation/travel, etc, so most of it would not be content already on my MS websites.
The royalty rates are 30% for RM and 20% for RF. However, I can't find a price list so I'm not sure what my average take would be.
Is this worth my time? Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Jean

For those who are not familiar with GCU, its a greeting card store that promises cards for ANY occasion. If your wounded veteran brother is having a sex change and getting married on Halloween - they have a card for that.
That's too bad. I would of liked to support such a site. I happen to need a card for my wounded veteran brother (now sister) who had a sex change and is getting married this Halloween.

Hi all, Does anyone have any experience selling books on Blurb? http://www.blurb.com/From what I understand, you can make a book then buy a copy which puts up for sale. I've made photo books before for personal use (i.e., travel photos) through other websites, but they did not have a selling feature. I might try them next time I make a book for myself and see where it leads. Jean

100$
Way too high for a new site. 25$ would be more realistic.
From the site... Payout Threshold You can withdraw your earnings manually or set an automatic payout at the end of each month. The payout threshold is $100, but you can withdraw lower amounts at any time for a $2 fee.

Just saw this posted on Shutterbuzz: http://www.shutterstock.com/buzz/shutterstock-facebookIt will be interesting to see how many more DLs that leads to. I would think that many small businesses would just pirate images (some not knowing that you need to pay for images).

Try ACDSee Pro. I'm using it and no problems so far.
Thanks. I will look into it. I was hoping that Lightroom would have a plug-in. Or that there would be a keywording specific software that could do it.

Hi all,
Apologies if this was covered elsewhere.
With several stock sites using keyword order in the search algorithm, I was wondering which software allows you to keep the keyword order on export? I am currently using Lightroom 3 for my editing and keywording and it exports the keywords alphabetically.
I realize that I could do the work within each site's keywording area, but that seems tedious.
-Does Lightroom 5 support this? -Is there a Lightroom plug-in that could do this? -Other keywording software?
Any help is appreciated.
