Yes Leo, but is a step by step process. We must help you, but grsphoto get a point when he said that we need a theme ready out of box. Now is still in beta, with some great sites, in example I saw the link to cartoonpictureshop, but people don't want hear the word beta. We can keep attention, but the most  important thing is your effort in coding. But I'm sure soon we can promote the project writing how we sell images direct with symbiostock. The symbiostock sites I saw are pretty functional, things need only to be refined!

Thanks Leo, this is the first article of a series, will be published tomorrow or Tuesday. And if you want next week  I would like to work in a new post with some question to you; the founder of the project.

Sounds good! Just make them easy questions :D

FYI - the Wiki is available on the website. If you'd like to be a contributor let me know.

Ok unfortunately something happened in my life and now I'm busy the next two months. So this slow down some project that I had in mind but doesn't stop them.
The first post was published https://www.pixelsonthego.com/blog/
Yes Leo, easy questions, and before to publish the article I send you it by email. This way you can see how it is and suggest any useful changes.
Next days I contact you either for the interview, and for become an author in the wiki project. Unfortunately I can't spend much time to the project but I can gladly help.

grsphoto, said all right, in dashboard you set for all the site.
For page by page or post by post what wrote grsphoto in again right but you allow or disallow the comment only in quick edit. Roll over the page or post and you can see the men. In quick edit you can fix other things such as keywords, schedule when to publish an article etc.

If I recall right you have a Mac. Try iPhoto if I remember you can select more than a picture with "command" and then change in batch all the pictures with the same date. Yes is possible in iPhoto... http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2365?viewlocale=en_US

My article is almost ready, where can I find the logo (the double s) of symbiostock to download? I would like to insert it in the article...

I think that, maybe, jvoetsch see the business in another way instead other agency. She know that they are a small company and can't compete with the big, not in this moment at all. Clipartof understand that they can live well in a niche and with a fair trade with contributors; so they focus is holding and growing their niche and go ahead a little at a time. Evidently they think that there is enough space for other without hurt themselves. And with this in mind they refer only other agencies, that treat the artists with respect. This is the better policy in long terms to hear, good artists in small agencies and not in the big, in long terms, means that the big can lose contributors and then buyer.

Is it only a "real coop" if it takes everyone that comes in the door?
I have mentioned this before, the answer is yes :) A real coop doesnt select their members. Its true.
I think that this is a misunderstandings, but depends by the coop, its rules, statute, target and country, because normally the answer is yes, a real coop select their members. In a link posted in the forum Bruce Livingstone said that the idea is of not too many members. I don't remember well but it seems to me that the target for 2013 is max 500 members.
In my opinion this isn't a problem, stocksy has its goal and trying to reach them with its rules.
Better if other coop born, so everyone can find the best for him. Microstock isn't only istock or shutterstock and maybe coop will be more than stocksy, not all survive but create competition.

Tomorrow.... hmm well, later this afternoon, now here are 1,30 am and I'll wake up at 6,00 I'll read the link.
I think that apple microsoft and other was born in a garage, what care is the idea, and again I think that symbiostock is a great idea. So I trust that with patience and effort this network can reach the success. And yes I know that you must develop the project and following the various social is virtually impossible, but as you stated some fellow can follow more actively the pages. My thoughts about the fact that I think is better if you open the official accounts about symbiostock, is because who before open and use the name after has the full control over the pages. "Diamo a Cesare quel che di Cesare!". Is a non-sense if I open a twitter account named symbiostock, this account must be your, I can follow you, someone delegate by you can tweet according with what you think is right so you can follow the coding area of the project and so on for the other social.

As a person interested in this project, next days I publish in my blog a post about symbiostock. But I would be pleased if it wasn't only a single article. I should like keep the attention about symbyostock, over time.  Then I would, publish some "interview" with some of the artists, giving the chance to explain to everyone why was born symbiostock, who we are, what kind of photos or illustrations we produce etc. So I would have the opportunity to give visibility to the project as well as some of the members. I think that if not only I publish some interview, but also other, everyone wouldhave a greater visibility. Next days I'll contact some of you to know if you would answer some question so I can able to link yours websites not in a page full of links but in a post specifically related to you.
Another way to increase knowledge about symbiostock is via social network, G+ facebook and twitter.
I think that Leo must open an official symbiostock page at least in these three. Must be Leo as the owner of syombiostock, I know that can be a huge commitment, but after all, Leo can authorize some of us to keep update the variuos page. In another thread I think that we can discuss what is worth to have in this social...

Perhaps if contributors pay for sell is better  ;D Bad deal for $ zone? Yahoo source, change today:
0,1$=0,767 And this is the official change, when you get a payment, add commissions and then see what is the real change for contributor. Why annoying people with these jokes.

Congrats Gillian, and I visited your beautiful website so.. again congratulation I saw a lot of  good pictures.

Basically if you sell in more than one agency your files can reach more buyer. Think that Oringer the CEO of SS said that exclusives are wrong by putting all their files in an agency. I agree with him. However, some are exclusive as well and so it's a personal choice.
In Istock many had large gains as exclusive, but now many are becoming independent. At this time you should choose more than one agency, not all twenty, and see where your files sell well. By the time you can choose whether to continue or become exclusive.

I think we are saying the same thing...
Yes we are saying the same thing... but probably my poor english is difficult to understand.

93
This is the point farbled. We can think us not as all in a big ship, but as many small ship connected ready to help to reach a common goal. Some of these ship are more near (network) others are more distant and maybe want to follow a different route. In future I think what matters is that I'm ready to help near and far ship, because I believe in the symbiostock system, but the route that I follow is my choyce. So if someone in a network put in some images on wich I don't agree I'm free to leave the network. That's all. If the network is poor in content, fail; if not, it means simply that it is following another route. What we need care is the choice of the network member and the right way to promote the sites and the system to reach more ships and fellow (better member of our network).
When symbiostock will be ready, the most important thing will make it known. A network, without traffic fail it doesn't matter if it is good or bad; so first reach the traffic after the buyer and the people  judge which of these networks are good and which are not.

94
50%? Why bother you in symbiostock or with a website? At  this point sell with the agencies. When you pay equipment, host, keywording time, promoting your site, what you get? Sincerely is the worst business plan heard in symbiostock section.

95
Beautiful, but definitely not taken by a stock photographer as 90% would be rejected for:
1. Not in focus.
2. Focus is not where it is supposed to be or works best.
3. To shallow depth of field.
4. Blurry image.

In Dreamstime
5 too similar image cut half and submit only one  ;D

Read above what I and the OP wrote, an email was send to the site explaining what to do (correct the credit line). The OP also is waiting for an answer, until now he didn't start the DCMA. But if the website in a few days don't answer you really trust that the trouble are for the OP. Google do a first friendly attempt contacting the site owner, if He/She correct the mistake nothing happens, if he/she don't correct the issue google can proceeding with the DMCA. So again if the website violated the copyright and sue the OP, what it get? There isn't  false DMCA, google don't make the content inaccessible if the website correct the credit line, again in this case nothing happen. But if he/she didn't correct the issue google make the content inaccessible. At this point the website can't correct anymore the credit line because it isn't no longer on-line. The violation of the credit line is a copyright violation, and if, after that the copyright holder and google, friendly ask for remedy a mistake and he/she didn't you really trust that can he/she sue anyone? And trust me, google has the original pages whit the violation. Poncke if I buy ten of your pictures I can't write in the copyright line Alberto. If you friendly ask me to correct the mistake and explain what and how to do with a link about the copyright, I'm lucky that you don't sued me, I know that the fail is mine. I can only thank you and correct the mistake. If I don't answer to your email and after that, write me google ever friendly, explaining me what happen and that I can't claim the copyright on your pictures, I think that I'd be an idiot if I don't correct the error. And if I don't and google make the pictures inaccessible I'm a double idiot if I sue you, Google gives you the data and the print where I wrote  Alberto on the pictures the clear evidence of the violation of your copyright. So tread carefully but don't be afraid.
And now I reread message #3 it's not the first time that the guy is caught with this mistake, frankly don't trust his bona fide.
English is not my first language, I hope you can understand what I wrote

97
He don't know where the guy bought the pictures if bought them. The OP already had contacted the man. So if he answer and correct the issue I think that there aren't problem if he don't answer the incorrect statement was its. Every terms and conditions in any agencies about copyright are cristal clear, when you buy a file you aren't the copyright owner. So if I see a website with some pictures of mine where the owner statues that he is the copyright owner, I send him an e-mail where I explain how things works and how to correct the mistake. If he answer and correct the issue, well, otherwise the DCMA is due, and there isn't agency that can do anything.

Here is mine.

Name of Site: Danny Smythe Photo-illustrations
URL: http://www.dannysmythe.com
Owner/Artist/Photographer: Danny Smythe
A brief one or two sentence description: The first gallery is devoted to Royalty Free Stock Photos. The rest of the site is a portfolio of my commissioned work.

Congrats awesome portfolio, great quality works.

Poncke has reason. Blogs and social can be a way to promote, but I never will spend to promote one agency. An agency start with a business plan and know that they must promoting the new startup and that need money. If they can't promote themselves they are dead.
