I just got tis e-mail from offset.
 "Hi Paul,
We have received your request for Offset thank you!
We are continuously adding imagery from top artists around the world and are striving to build the most comprehensive collection of unique images available through simplified licensing.
We look forward to inviting you in soon.

Sounds very interesting anybody got more details? I think they could only ask higher prices if the pictures are exclusive. It would be nice if we could make some exclusive pictures but not be tied down as exclusive artists/photographers .

I am fulltime but wish I did better. The problem is I am the only person who would employ me and I am on my second verbal warning for my obstructive attitude.  :-\

Panthermedia.net / Re: taxes at PantherMedia
« on: March 15, 2013, 04:25 »
I contacted them and they emailed me the relevant forms with most of the information filled in for me. All I need now is proof of residency. I applied on line for this two weeks ago still not arrived. so I have been taxed on another payment. when I do get my certificate of residency I need to post it to the German tax office  with the two forms one of which is all German so I only have a rough idea of what's on it.  then wait.....I will let you know how I get on (so far I am wondering whether it is worth it or not for the small amount I make there.  (I am in the UK)

I have 900 pictures and get over 500 downloads a month. I take a lot longer to make pictures now as only my very best work has any chance of selling. New stuff can sell well but has to be a lot better than what's there or very original.

Pixmac / Re: Fee on PayPal payments from Pixmac?
« on: March 08, 2013, 04:17 »
I am unhappy about these fees, And I am not sure whether I am comfortable uploading to a site that doesn't see this as a problem that they can put right.

I last received a payment from them in August 2012 for $53. I just checked PayPal and there is a $2.63 fee. I hadn't noticed before. No idea what it is for...

New Sites - General / Re: Stockami contributor update - March 2013
« on: February 27, 2013, 04:42 »
I really like the look and feel of Stockami. I think given time they will can only grow. I will do whatever I can to help professional sites that treat contributors fair. I have my port there and I have sold.

« on: February 24, 2013, 04:12 »
Hi I have been uploading to microstok sites for some time now and have been coming here as a guest for years because it is the best place to find out what is going on in the industry . I thought it was about time I joined and introduced myself. I am Paul Fleet I live in England I do mostly illustration 3d and hand drawn into Photoshop. I like to experiment with ideas and techniques and I upload everything I do. I am inspired by vintage and the surreal but will have a go at anything.

New Sites - General / Re: RawStockPhoto - new stock site
« on: February 23, 2013, 04:20 »
Sites like Alamy  prefer photos to be untouched for the same reason you are advocating selling RAW. There is little difference to a designer between an unedited photo as a jpeg or a RAW file. but as a seller I would be more willing to sell an unedited  photo as a jpeg file. I would never sell a RAW file.

If I had pictures that are so bad they are unsellable on microstock sites why would I want to advertise this by giving them away for free.
