LG, rde-orm

When I look at the sales at Mostphotos I see almost only sold pictures with Swedish keywords. What do you thoink, it's better to change from English to Swedish? Does anyone here from Scandinavia have experiences or observed a relation between the language of keywords and sales?

Have not read correctly. You asked for videos but I have no videos. Sorry! So my answer is irrelevant for you.

The last weeks sales were better than at the same time on BigStpock and even Dreamstime. Maybe there is hope?

And again - lots of sales, not only distribution sales, sales in generally. This month is my BME on Canstock, and February has just begun!

Same here. had a couple of distribution sales last december and now again. Guess, they collect the sales in Canstock one or two month and publish the sales all at once.

First, photographers have complete control over their work. They self-represent their own content by remain the copyright holder and the licensor. Each photographer decides which images to upload...
Guess what I do. I decide by myself, which images i upload! Everywhere!

New Sites? You mean most of the old ones haven't cheated and used you enough?
No, not at all - I am just looking for more new sites in order to increase sales.
There are only e few sites, where you can make money. All the others are playground if you have your port online on the first mentioned few sites.

I think it's ok. Safety authorities must control who behaves conspicuously. And let's face it. We photographers often behave ourselves strangely. Lie on our stomachs to get the best viewing angle. We wait for hours on a passing train or a plane. We are often in the same place. But, who makes just photos, has nothing to hide. Better that way than if no one would ever worry about security.

I was already opted out of deals with DT and my income has been rising with them, so I wouldn't worry too much about opting out.
I opted out some days ago and suddenly the sales are rising! Strange, but true!

Maybe it depends on where you live? There a some regions in the world with more, and some with less dust in the air:-)

Don't try to get rid of these yourself, you'll make if worse.
I clean mine any time the lens has been off. It's easy.
Depends on what kind of stuff is on your sensor. There was some sticky stuff on mine once, I suspect could have been some pollen or who knows what, some mold growing? anyhow, if it works for you, great, but I'd still go for pro cleaning every time.
So I do, at least once a year. My experience is, I have a clean camera after I get back the cam from Nikon Service. Self-Clean can work, but often enough it works not well.

Send your cam to the next Nikon-Service and you will get back a clean cam. After 8 years there is much more dirt and dust as you can see as spots on the sensor.

it's easy to get everyone to say go ahead and begin the revolution . but experience taught me that when the times comes, you will be standing there alone . much in the same way i was told many years ago to stand up and be the spokesman for my colleagues to tell the boss off. when the times came, the boss asked how many of you are behind this young chap, no one stood up . this will be the reason why such a revolution will never happen. esp when there is no other agency that can produce sales like ss.
We in the eastern part of Europe have completely other experiences

This really isn't different from the Google/Getty deal with the exception that there's an opt out offered (which is a very good thing; and the worse the deals, the more I appreciate that). I think people see Google and get all starry eyed and do daft things.
I can't find the opt out possability. Either you agree to any partnership or you opt out from any partnership. A special opt-out option for the Google deal does not exist

In my case the best selling pic made ca. 350 -400 $ too, in 2014 I had a couple of these well selling pics. And I have one picture, that made at least 300/year since 2009 without a break.

The most exciting news are that nothing will change in the near future for contributors. And the coffee maker in the next room is working again
