When you press the advanced metadata button, you got four options, make sure you select the video preview and also enter the details under "video submit options". You need to fill out the details in "submit parameters" as well if you're uploading to Shutterstock, Pond5, Clipcanvas or Alamy.

I've been using Stocksubmitter to upload videos and images to Pond5, but recently the newly uploaded files only have one keyword after submission. I've to add all the keywords back manually. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I've tried using Stocksubmitter to upload videos to RevoStock but there is an error message of "No video options". Is this because Stocksubmitter doesn't support uploading video to RevoStock? Or am I missing something?
Oops, just figured out what's wrong... I haven't edited the advanced metadata. Is there anyway to delete this post?

After updating Stocksubmitter, I'm getting this error all the time, "The program was not able to save metadata into some of the files: File XXXXXXX: Writing metadata failed: Index was outisde the bounds of the array."
Any idea what's causing the problem?

Me, uploaded 50 files and haven't show up in the unfinished files list. I would wait and see if they will come through later.

It's @, as I was uploading a symbol with that sign.

I found the problem now. I put a irrelevant character as one of the keywords and that caused the error. Anyway, thanks a lot!

I'm trying to use Stocksubmitter to submit images to MostPhotos, PantherMedia and YayMicro, but the checkboxes for submitting the images are missing. Do I need to submit images manually for these website?

I got an error like this: "Error parsing site page. Site has probably changed pages format. Update StockSubmitter to latest version and try again. If problem persist, try again later." and the details page said "Unable to parse error message for image xxxxxxxxx in unfinished list."
Any idea what's going on?

Started uploading there 6 months ago, and now have about 100 clips there, only 3 downloads so far

I think this is a brilliant idea! If we all take action and provide our images at only one site, 50/50 split, or if any existing site can get a large number of microstockers to agree to join this, then all of us will win. But the biggest problem is, how to get started?

An interesting new concept to link up the clients and photographers. As a contributor, can we keep a collection of images for sale on FocalPool, just like what we now have on microstock sites?

It has been a few days since the Dreamstime stat in Stockperformer failed to show up. I noticed there were a few update released and asked me to refresh my browser, but after the update, an error still shows up, saying "RangeError: Invalid array length". Is it just me having this error?

I've subscribed to Stocksubmitter recently. Just wondering if it supports upload to PhotoDune. I can't find it on the list of upload sites. Do I need to create custom settings instead?

What I got was slipped spinal disc, rather serious and at one time I couldn't even tie my shoelaces. Now I can even do mountain biking. In addition to a standing desk, you will need a monitor arm to lift your monitor up to the eye level so your neck won't bend all the time. And those from Ergotron are really good!

Check this out http://www.homedit.com/ikea-standing-desk/I've back problem for years and then saw this website and made a DIY standing desk by putting a Ikea Lack TV unit on top of a Galent desk with A-frame desk legs. Since then, my back problem has gone completely. Cheapest and best solution!

Just wondering if anyone is having problem uploading to Fotolia via ftp. I am uploading my video portfolio there using Filezilla and getting lots of disconnection errors. I've no problem uploading other sites via ftp. Is there some kind of settings I should be aware of? Thank you!

For my case, SS and Pond5 are the best, followed by IS.

Instead of editing photos and looking for sensor dust on our photos, let's spend some time to help searching for the missing Malaysian airline plane. I guess we all got very sharp eyes which could be especially useful in this case. Here's the link: http://www.tomnod.com/nod/challenge/malaysiaairsar2014

I just found that it is quite time consuming to upload to multiple sites. I started uploading to Pond5 in mid February this year, and lucky to get one download so far, but still I feel that the number of view and download is not as good as I expected before.

For some reasons I would like to remove all my video files at Pond5. Can I do this simply by deleting all the files from the "My Uploads" tab? Will the files be removed from the search as well?
Thanks!

I'm in Oz too. I've applied for the ABN and have all my expenses on equipment tax deductible. From my understanding, you can apply for an ABN once you started a business, and don't required to have any profit. Then, you can claim deduction on the part of your income from your microstock business, but not the income from your full time job.
With an ABN, you need to keep record of all your business activity and submit an activity statement to ATO every quarter. This can be time consuming, but definitely worth doing if your income from micro stock is significant. If your business reach an annual turnover over AUD75000, you can apply for GST deduction as well. That means you can buy your equipment and claim back the 10% GST.
