So ~ Footage is the Answer.
I think footage is the answer, artists get paid much better. I have a port of 91 on shutter stock a I have 40+ the last 1/2 of this mo.... 98% subs with a few 1.88. .50 and 1 2.50 Subs is why it's very difficult to make real $$ video on the other hand is not part of any subs scheme.

Embermike, I wouldn't make a move at your level, your smart not to, it's hard to beat $2-$12ish downloads with $.25 and .35 subs and the ones that do pay you more just don't have the sales. This I have discovered personally, so I am currently exc with rasters and indi with my vectors ... This strategy is working for me pretty good, if they didn't "split vectors n rasters" I'd be exclusive with all too Congrats by the way, that is an amazing achievement! I switched to Mac in 2009 ish so I could spend more time doing vectors and less time "under the hood" being a girl geek I have to say though lately apple has recently put out updates that have had problems  I am now hesitant to do any major upgrades. I've been up n running and Steve has been awesome and so helpful! I am very happy saved me a lot of time, I've already started uploading I look at symbiostock as insurance against such uncertainty that surrounds us... And getting it going now so it can grow and get established, so when or if others take my good away I can feed myself with a little help from my friends doing the same thing. Yes, the built in community aspect is why I'm getting a symbiostock site with a little help . Been thinking about it for awhile now and with all the crazy deals and uncertainty.
