I have never had a problem with sharing some of my royalties with an agency as long as it was fair... To be honest if an agency is a marketing machine I would gladly take 40% ! ... That was my share in my iStock glory days as an exclusive making ave of $900 mo on 400+ portfolio 😎

Sounds pretty good, 1.99 getting 1.80 for Med 1 time use, is it clear to buyers that it's a one time use?
Non simplistiy is istock's downfall and advertising lots gave it its rise in the beginning and before it was sold, it's unique hi quality collection with a happy medium price was what sustained it

Canva (if I spelt it right) did it right they have a $1 one use program.... If yay let link stay live as long as they are active subscribers and made it one link per download then we have something 😊

VB at $49 is better than the slew of $10 clips on P5

Very interesting 1. The buyers point of view of the sites as well as the P5 experience.

I wonder if it's because a 199 is next to a 10 on P5? I've started animation and I want all my stuff industry standard, here's hoping it works 😊

Did I do something wrong or does "processing" stage (before info edits can be done) at Pond5 take really long

I've said many times any site...ANY site who comes in and offers a 50/50 Split across the board weather it's SS of FT or whoever could control the market as far as contributors. And the competition would dry up and go home. I for one would love to upload to one fair site instead of 9 frustrating Ones that are ripping us off and getting wealthy doing it. The time saved alone would be worth it, IF time is money and to me, It is.
Adobe could very easily have a complete monopoly if they wanted and that would justify a 50/50 split. If they did that Everyone would bail out everywhere else. But. It would probably be exclusive. Im In. Maybe Im just tired But....I would be in. And vice versa, If SS offered this, same deal.
YES! YES! The magic formula is Advertising, fair royalties like the 50/50, and a fair price $7- 12ea with an option for $3 for blog and simple vectors I think that was the price when iStock was at its best... They had an amazing collection of images/vectors you could not get anywhere else Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Actually I would prefer for contributors that credits (amount we earned) would be $$ instead.

I am not bullish on start ups. And Stockai is a PERFECT example as to why.
I agree, this "disappearing act" happened to me before with another agency before. I searched my emails and see I did sign up, I sent them an email reminding them they don't "own" my images! Meanwhile CANVA a new agency is doing fantastic people are happy with early sales and are listened to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can't remember if I uploaded any and of course can't find out... STOCKTAL YOU DONOT HAVE PERMISSION TO TRANSFER MY ART.
