Thank you very much for your explanation.

On a different subject I hope someday in the future StockSubmitter will include in their supported agencies Artgrid. Right now their submission system is still archaic with no option to add description, keywords for every file as you can only do that submitting a csv file. If at one point they develop this it would be great to do the submissions through your software.

It would be be useful if there was some info on the site that you want to use about pricing and the conditions you just explained here. About the Chat it would be great if it was unable when it is out of service for whatever reason but giving you a number and remaining time to be attended might be confusing some people.
In any case thank a lot for the info. I will stay with StockSubmitter and sending many thousands of ProRes clips would end up a very costly solution for me. For still images it is a great option I think.

Not so intuitive, we're planning to rethink this part.

As of the chat - we're using the LiveChat, we've specified in settings that we would prefer using their "continuous chats" and there should be no queue number or a ETA time provided. Probably a bug on their end.
Apologies for the confusion.

You can vote for any agency to be added to the list of the supported ones every time you purchase a subscription package or top up your account balance.
We're working on adding new ones in the order the poll results are suggesting.

Hello:

What's your experience with this site. I have used a few times StockSubmitter and wanted to try this service but the chat is not working. Nobody online even if you are number one in the queue.
I am a footage submitter so lots of Gigabyte. As there is no pricing information to be found anywhere nor detailed information. I would say it is quite opaque, is it priced like Stocksubmitter by number of files or by Gbytes of files uploaded. How about the pricing, more or less expensive that Stock Submitter?

And what about security? At stock submitter the files remain in my hard disks and are sent over ftp. Here you upload to a site with very little info and not very transparent at all. Is it safe? Have you had any issues regarding security there?

If somebody has some good or bad experiences I would love to hear them.

Apologies for the delayed responses in the Support chat. You've contacted us during night hours and normally we sleep at that time.

Microstock.Plus is using StockSubmitter subscription and thus the pricing is the same.
The only extra limitation is the storage limit - we provide 200Gb for free, but if you need more you can purchase it at 10 EUR/Tb/month.

As of the security, your files are stored on our storage servers and are not directly accessible from the web.

Those images I uploaded on Dreamstime yesterday are all submitted and accepted and show as online, also got the approval email. True, they also show as Unfinished files. Looks more like their problem not ours.

They've started replying to us, hopefully we will find a solution together :)

What is it with Dreamstime now? They were quite user friendly. Actually I submitted a few photos just this Tuesday and they went ok. Would be sad to lose a good agency.

They have replied to a few of those users who have contacted them.
Told them that we should contact them to discuss it further.
We have sent them another message directly to the email address they were replying to the users from. Still awaiting a response.

With Adobe now making illustrative editorial open to even bronze tier submitters it would be great if stock submitter can start up loading and submitting editorial to Adobe stock

StockSubmitter does support it.
If you clearly understand the difference between the illustrative editorial and normal editorial and your content falls under their illustrative editorial requirements - just enable the corresponding option in StockSubmitter settings for Adobe.

I'm just confused what to say to them without mentioning SS, as i can submit files using the web page.

But i'll try something

Just tell them that you get an access denied error when you try to open the website.
And that it works only from another computer.
Because technically that's what happening (it's just that StockSubmitter is sending requests instead of you in one case where it gets blocked - omit that part from the complaint).

Yes, that's still the strategy.
Because they are blocking some requests (obviously they won't block the requests from your normal browsing because they're aiming at blocking "bots")
They probably do not realize that their blocking does more harm (prevents contributors from submitting content) than good.

As of the metadata - they're filling it automatically (incorrectly) and it won't be correct until StockSubmitter can submit them.

Submitting videos to Dreamstime doesn't work. "Error parsing the site"

They've started blocking access randomly.

Please try contacting them and telling them that you're receiving an access denied error when you try to open their website.
Do not mention StockSubmitter though :)

Actually in the last few days it was tolerable, i only had to enter it once a day (it would still be great not having to), but there were cases when i had to do it 4 times an hour and such

Well that doesn't depend on us in any way, we have to ask for it whenever Adobe asks.

Is there anything to do about these Adobe verification codes haveng to be entered from emails several times a day?  It started a few day ago, and makes work really frustrating. I had the check my email and copy it around four times just in the post one hour.

You should be able to change your verification settings for your Adobe ID through account.adobe.com

One logged in, click Password and Security in the profile tab
The Password and Security screen, click Manage on Two-step verification

There you can set the authentication to go through your phone or through an app

Unfortunately it could not solve this. I've checked my account settings and two step verification was turned off to begin with.

Is there a problem with Alamy integration? Their captcha keeps popping up several times an hour, despite successfully answering it (according to captcha), and I also get this error along it:

Make sure you wait for the captcha window to disappear automatically, do NOT close it manually.

Android version of Easy Release has introduced a new feature to store all fields you've filled in the release files. Now you can simply drag such files to the releases list in StockSubmitter and they will get imported along with all fields. It's just that easy!

Please note that you will need to purchase the feature in Easy Release in settings to use it.
It is not yet supported in the iOS version of the app and in Microstock.Plus

For Antivirus software any program connecting to internet is potentially harmful. SS is not the most popular software obviously because of its niche nature so avast doesn't have enough data about it from theis users. It just the way antiviruses work. Depending on your settings it could prevent your computer from working as it supposed to.
And StockSubmitter updates constantly, could be twice a day or more to provide advertised features for supported agencies which change something every now and then, and also adding new features. But you don't have to update every time, just cross your fingers and hope that this time it was not the stock agency you uploading to changed something on their website:)

Unfortunately, there is no way around this for a niche software like StockSubmitter.

Okay I temporarily disabled Avast and was able to get Stocksubmitter started. Then a pop up message appeared that said: "Please avoid submitting more than 10 - 20 products per day to CreativeMarket as it may result in your account on CreativeMarket being banned!"

What on earth is CreativeMarket?

They don't have a review process so they're very serious about those who spam their account with hundreds of images, especially if they're using tools like StockSubmitter to make it easier.
That's a recommendation.

I notice for Pond 5, there's an option within Stocksubmitter to recode videos to Photojpeg if necessary. Would it be worth it? Does SS do a decent job of the conversion? Some of my videos do have the h264 codec but I doubt the bitrate of these clips would be high enough for an uncompressed codec like Photojpeg.

AFAIK, Pond5 does now support H.264.

Im getting a few files that have a "submitted but missing tag" mainly on dreamstime. Is this an error? Should I just resubmit them.

This shouldn't happen for files submitted in September.
If it does for you, please PM me an example of a file ID that has this issue + what has actually happened with the file on the DT website (please look for it in the Unfinished, Pending, Approved and Rejected sections to find it)

Every day with almost every new submissions I have same problem!
When I click on "submit now", stocksubmiter report Missing files.
Files are on disk where it needs to be.
After push "specify the folder" , again the same problem.

How to correct this problem?

So apparently your files have a double extension (JPEGs have .mov.jpg and MOVs have .mov.mov)
Please remove double extensions, keep only a single .mov for your MOV files and .jpg for your JPEG files, should help.

Please set permissions to Full Access for the Users group to the folders with your files.
doesen't work... like I said, I never had this problem before.

I will have to look for another keywording tool...

To do it correctly, please go to the properties of the folder in question, open the Security tab, click "Edit", find the "Users" group there and click on the "Full Access" checkbox, then save it.
If the "Users" group isn't there please add it.
