In the last 2 years, yes, I made between 450 and 750 $ every month, but, looking around I see many contributors who do much better than this with similar number of files. I need to understand what is missing for doing better.

Hi all,
I play as illustrator in microstock industry from about 3 years, and now I do about 600$ month, working with SS, IS, 123rf, FT, Canstock and Alamy (only 2 sales in 3 years). Obviously it is not a full time job for me but I think I will can do better. Please help me with your critiques... Thank you and kind regards Giorgio P.S: Sorry for my poor English 162

I make 5000 x 5000 pix raster file starting from an original scan of 600 dpi and it is normally accepted on SS FT IS and CS.

Thank you both for the answers,
I'm signed in and I'm waiting for ID verification. I think I will upload there a selection of my works that make sense at reasonable high price. I like their business/marketing pattern and would encourage them. 168
Illustration - General / Anyone here sell illustration and vector art at Pond5?« on: November 03, 2015, 07:27 »
Now Pond5 is climbed in the top of the poll, but I think it is in reason of the videos, worth it for illustration and vector art?
Do anyone have any thought? Did anyone had any experience? 169

My own earnings from 2014-08-01 to 2015-07-31:
Assumed SS as 100 IS is 37 up FT is 6.3 down 123RF is 1,9 up All values together are 45.2% of SS. up 175
General Stock Discussion / Re: proportion of earnings in 2014« on: September 23, 2015, 12:47 »Interesting but a bit dated......I like to track a 12 month rolling average and look at trends. On this basis although ss retains the lead FT,IS and RF123 are all chasing it down. What happened in the past is only a partial predictor of what might happen in the future. Personally I think SS is losing its grip I agree. I'll try later the same from August to August. |
