I'm not lawyer but looking at some of the images "for adults" that I found under Popular Media tab - I wouldn't dare to sell them. Not even as editorial. There are too many lawsuits these days.

Anybody heard or even used http://imgembed.com ? Main purpose of this site seems to be to promote artists more than to make some serious money but generally I like this idea. Don't you think that similar way of licensing images could be the future of selling images for use on web sites and blogs? In theory no stolen images, absolute control over usage of images There must be some drawback but I'm not aware of any at the moment - if I leave out the fact that it can't work for print.

There was a time when being accepted as a iS contributor was kind of proof that you are at least above average photographer. Now it's proof that you are camera owner.

I wonder if "consultations with customers and months of research" proved that buyers love to go through pages of crap to find one suitable image. Looking at new images I feel like I visited MostPhotos by mistake.

And now for something completely different. Payment from SS that is supposed to be paid by 15th has already appeared on my PayPal account. These little differences...

It may be positive step for buyers but I don't think it's acceptable for contributors unless our commissions won't change significantly. Unfortunately brain tends to displace bad things so even I was that stupid that I uploaded to iS more - fortunately old - images just few days before this announcement. Getty / Google deal is almost forgotten and "dust is settled" as Lobo predicted. I doubt that new buyers can compensate drop in income for iS, I don't think it can bring anything positive to exclusives. Seems to be lose-lose decision to me. On the other hand it's positive to see that even at iS they are able to plan few steps ahead - 999 upload limit with nearly 100% acceptance - prices reduced by 50% few weeks later. Hopefully transfer to Goggle docs or other exciting deal is not next step. Everyone has to make his decision but personally I'm not going to upload images anymore to iS to get 80 cents from XL sale.

Thanks. It works. Few more years and I'm finished. @jm
one way is to change the Page Template from Default to "Categories Page", while you edit/create your page, it.s on the Page Attributes sidebar

Same here. But I still can't get "Categories" page. Is it available or do I have to create it myself? Thanks.

My sales on iS have drastically declined as I deactivated majority of my portfolio for some reason :-) Sales on SS and FT are good. Sales on 123rf continue to drop fast since December, DT is heading to low earners.

Sean will most probably make more money than on iS in few months. Images are not save on iS anymore thanks to their deals - so biggest advantage of exclusivity is gone. Buyers that love his images will buy them elsewhere and probably for lower price. Buyers that want Sean's images will probably buy images of other contributors on other sites as well. Sean, buyers, contributors and iS's competitors will profit from this. So what's wrong? Who's gonna suffer a loss? Oh - I forgot about iS.

I don't think that it's only coincidence that they have changed rules now - when many ex-exclusives are heading to SS and many current SS contributors try to make them to use their referral link.

Google is a big company, much bigger than Getty Images, and coordinating across the teams Translated to human language: They are bigger - they ignore us, we are bigger - we ignore you. That's what we call: "System of falling bul***it.

There are some images from Zoonar and Ingram. But it seems that they had same information about this deal in advance as usual contributor - none.

I received this email from Zazzle but I presume that ms agencies will receive sooner or later similar mail from Fender as well. I'm not affected but some of you may consider checking your images of guitars if they are not Fender - we all remember Yuri / Sunglasses case.
......... We have some important news for you all. Zazzle has been contacted by legal representatives from Fender, due to an infringement claim. There are multiple reasons that products will be removed from our site, and we will be listing those below. At this time Zazzle must abide by all requests for product removals due to this claim, products will be removed starting at Midnight tonight, Jan 30th. Below are the models we will be removing for your reference
The aforementioned models are: Stratocaster Telecaster Jazzmaster Jaguar Mustang Jagmaster
Anything on the following list can be cause for removal: Brand Name Model Names Headstock Design Instrument Body Shape Anything on the website that includes a reference to these Fender models will be removed; images, tags, titles, descriptions etc. ......

Believe it or not but last three months SF are really better earner than Veer and PhotoDune for me. But it's also caused by the fact that while sales on SF are slowly but steadily increasing - sales on PD and Veer are disastrous in December and January.

This change is not for the worse for me. Before - when I uploaded more than 3 or 4 vectors (but I usually use transparency etc. so vectors are few MB large + large previews) - "time ran out" while uploaded images were processing so I had to go back to my account and repeat process several times until processing was finally finished.

Don't mistake incompetent reviewers for picky sites. GL is site with lowest acceptance ratio for me but I wouldn't say that their reviewers are bad, they are just more demanding. If you take a look at their site, you won't find crap as on the other sites.
I see, all files there are 1st class like this one:
OK. Let me change it to "you won't find so much of crap as on the other sites". I don't feel like playing "find reviewers fault"game.

DT has the worst reviewers along with VR and GL.. Don't mistake incompetent reviewers for picky sites. GL is site with lowest acceptance ratio for me but I wouldn't say that their reviewers are bad, they are just more demanding. If you take a look at their site, you won't find crap as on the other sites. Everyone should place higher demands on himself first and blaming reviewers later. and to be honest - if I was the one to decide I wouldn't approve OP's snapshot as well - regardless lcv, I don't like composition. And disturbing shadow on the right side, leafs in upper right corner, nail in the wall and probably wire visible under plant should be removed.

...and one more thing I don't understand - why are the images on Google Drive that large? Or am I the only one one with resolution of monitor 1920 x 1200? Even if we agree with this deal I think that 1600 px wide images would be more than enough.
