Today his portfolio is still visible but clicking on individual images brings up a -  404 error page

I saw that when checking just now.

However, I have not heard squat from iStock support, in spite of their message saying they'd respond within 24 "business hours"...

I haven't heard from iStock either.

The size of the Collection Box is way too big on ones portfolio page IMHO.

I just got an email from a designer who had used a watermarked image of mine in a mockup for a client and when they went to purchase it today it wasn't available. They wanted to know where they could get it. I explained the situation and they will be purchasing it from Adobe.

Their reply to me:
"Wow I don't blame you, that's awful. I was not aware of that, I will definitely not be purchasing from them in the future. I will purchase the image through Adobe, thank you so much for your quick response!"

yes you can.

Can I use this in a tweet? I dont have to use your name.

Thanks! Too long to Tweet, but I posted it on the Coalition fb page.

Thanks  - I had already done that - but a second post doesn't hurt. and Jo Ann tweeted it.

I use my real name on my SS portfolio and in the About Me page I have a link to the (free with your CC subscription) my Adobe Portfolio where I have my contact details.

How did the person get your email address?

Over the past few days I deleted all my videos from SS (only 78 but they are gone)

I also have been deleting images over 2k.

And I have now turned off my remaining portfolio of 8600 images and my wife's portfolio of 4600 images.

That represents over $165k in lifetime earnings and 235,007 DL's.

So, May stats are in, better than April but still only about 2/3 of double March earnings.

EDIT: Despite not reaching double earnings, it was still best month in the last year or so...

The double earnings are not shown on the site.
They will just send you the money later (few days), like they did last month (at least for me it was like that last month.)

I think we understand that - the point is they promised we would get to that point without the bonus, and we are not there yet.

Pretty much the same results here.

I just would like to ask: Has anybody seen Mat from AS lately?

Not Surprised - they aren't going to jump into the middle of this fray.
They'll wait and see how it plays out before they react in any way.

Quote from Oringer in an interview 2015

YF: The 30% royalty rate is standardized across your offerings for contributors. Will this change?
Jon: The 30% rate is fair to the contributor and lets us invest in marketing and the technology..(30%) is the right spot.

I never stopped uploading to DT. Though sales aren't what they used to be glad I stayed with them.

Great Move DT.

Graffiti and Street Art

Graffiti and street art, including tags, are subject to copyright protection and require a valid property release from the artist for commercial use

Content containing graffiti or street art that is isolated or the main focus is unacceptable for editorial use

Graffiti/street art which appears to have been taken in San Francisco, CA is unacceptable for either commercial or editorial use

SS rejections are beyond my understanding of common sense. I uploaded some clips with graffiti on wall and put them under editorial. They got rejected with Not Editorial: Clip does not fall under one of our acceptable editorial categories or it may have been incorrectly tagged as editorial.. Then I resubmit clips and mark them as commercial. They got rejected because: Missing Artwork Property Release. Then I tried the third time, again under editorial and guess what, rejected because Not Editorial. Now let's see what will happened the forth time. And fifth time. And I don't think this is the work of AI, I would say there are some naive or greedy humans involved. And I hope SS goes down. My best seller right now is AD, just too bad they don't accept editorial. And I'm kinda disappointing with P5, sales are super low there.

SS Doesn't accept any image or clip with any amount of graffiti.
