I was opted in automatically. Is there any way to opt out?

When the opted me in October 202, I sent them an email telling them to remove all my files from that program  - They got back to me in 90 minutes saying: "We will exclude you from the Revenue Share Program shortly. "

And they did.

It only took me a couple minutes to figure out which zoo it was, so I'm sure the Manila Zoo would easily recognize the mural behind the elephant. (also your description on Dreamstime really gives it away).

Well it's not working for me. I uploaded 10 images this morning and only 6 submitted. One wouldn't let me add missing categories, so I deleted it and tried again - same problem. The remaining 3 are in a loop of saying they've been submitted, but then turning up again as unsubmitted, and I've tried 3 times over. I've even deleted them and uploaded them again - same problem.

YES.  And your post was 2-3 weeks ago and DT still hasn't fixed the issue.

Is this a browser issue? I just uploaded some photos and then an EPS with a JPG and the system recognized it as an additional with the same name, I didn't have to do anything. All metadata was read properly. They auto entered the Category. All boxes were checked as they always are, no I don't wish to donate as free if something is rejected.

That's online upload not ftp, and using Firefox.

I used Safari like I always do.

I too use Safari and I haven't had any issues.
I've uploaded using both FTP and the browser, A mix of Commercial and Editorial all the Metadata has been there. I just need remember to uncheck 'sell the rights' on the Commercial images.

Hmmmm, that's interesting.  I just sent them a bunch of screen shots at their request.  I can't even add keywords manually. The field won't accept text.  I just did another validation that when an image does submit, it never leaves the queue and the counter of remaining images doesn't go down with the submission.  Very strange.

No doubt about that. Did you do the obvious? Clear the cache, hard reload of the site?

What's odd for me is, usually the problem with sites is, Firefox is not as popular or supported as Chrome or Edge and I used to get some really odd errors. I mean if the problem was Firefox, it wouldn't see that unusual, but if it's Chrome then, yes that is odd.

And I'm sure you'll appreciate, like all software, if something is wrong, it's your fault! LOL  ;D Not theirs.

Yea and they asked me to try Chrome, which I did. When I use Chrome it copies my description into my keywords. VERY strange indeed.  They are aware of it.

That happens with Safari also- they must know about it - I ignore it and let them get added.
Not worth the effort to edit them out if they can't fix their system.

How will you know if you got paid from the fund?

Go to your December 2022 earnings summary and scroll all the way to the right.

What would me more telling if we also knew the size of the portfolio of each responder.

says yet another anonymous poster who won't even show their portfolio (if any)

i showed my numbers earlier - show me yours before asking for others'

it's an anonymous poll
but I will tell you it was  $67.82 and I had 14,189 images in Dec.

Interesting tidbit.

This morning at 7am I got an email form SS informing me I had moved up a level. I went check my totals and I was curious to see I was still 5 DL's short of their target number.

I wasn't until just now some 3 hours and 40 minutes later that my Earnings page registered the missing sales.

Will these royalties be ongoing for Ai images licensed where our work was used for machine learning?

That is the question

Just discovered that if you click on your Avatar there is another form for feedback (other than the "We Want To Hear From You" - Google Survey at the Botton). You can fill out this form anonymously and repeatedly.

I also suggest that we shouldn't click on the Shot List etc at the top of the page - if they don't get any interaction with these links maybe they will get it that we don't want it there.

Adobe Stock / Re: AS Editorial Rejections of current
« on: September 13, 2022, 19:47 »
These are their guidelines for illustrative editorial.

What is illustrative editorial content?
At Adobe Stock, we define illustrative editorial as conceptual imagery designed to illustrate articles on current events and newsworthy topics. This type of content often features images of real brands and products like signs on buildings, soda cans, computers, and cars to convey a story. Illustrative editorial content is made available to Adobe Stock customers for editorial use only.

Illustrative editorial isnt the same as editorial content, which documents events or incidents that are currently occurring or developing, or that have already occurred. We do not accept traditional editorial content at this time.

For illustrative editorial, we dont accept:

Images that feature recognizable people
Images of restricted events such as conventions and sports games
Images that feature tight crops of copyrighted or trademarked material, such as stamps, fine art, or other content that may violate privacy rights
Digitally created or manipulated versions of trademarked logos or other brand content other than social media icons

(But I also agree that their acceptance / rejection criteria is wonky to say the least, it just depends on your reviewer that day.

it was a long holiday weekend.

I just did three searches for single words beer, wine, cat then added the #
The results are the same total images and the order of images is just slightly different almost un-noticable.

I'd expect that but I wonder about the larger WEB itself? Or do hashtags lead to the subject and not to stock photos. I'm not chasing this one;D

ditto

Thank you for letting us know. The response I got from BS in May was that their technical team were working to resolve it (though I imagine that is just a cut and paste response to any fault being reported). Going forward, the low number of sales I get at BS wouldn't currently warrant the effort of uploading directly to them. That said, I did look at the upload page (just to remind myself what it looked like after 11 years!) and there is still a message saying my account is linked to Shutterstock and not to upload the same images to avoid duplicates. They're maybe too busy with their new acquisitions to get round to removing it.

I pointed that out to them multiple times yet it still remains.

As they are still paying .38 for subs I'd rather get sub sales at BS than SS. (wonder if they realize that and/or if that will change - if it does change then I will quit uploading to them)
