Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Creative Cloud bonus codes for 2021?« on: January 05, 2022, 09:31 »Looks like I just squeaked by. I had a 3 month difference when they changed to the Feb Code Reporting date and support was very unhelpful. But call them they will probably give you a free month that's all they would offer me. I ended up paying for a year because it was cheaper than paying monthly for 3 months. 78

To delete images go to Catalog Manager
Mouse over the image you want to delete and click on the pencil (edit) icon That takes you to the edit page where you just need to click on the Trash Can to delete Beware that deleting the image will still leave a trace of it in the system for a while (weeks, possibly forever) and you might still get the similar rejection. My suggestion is don't try to re-edit for SS just make more new better pictures. Edit: Though on replacing the sky - I think that might be worthwhile - and with that much of a change you may not get the similar rejections. 80

Shutterstock.com / Re: Editorial vs Commercial sales amount data?« on: December 09, 2021, 19:50 »...It's clear that Commercial images far outsell Editorial. This is just my personal opinion. I dont understand why removing logos etc from the buildings makes an image non-editorial. The place and buildings and boat are still recognizable. Good on you for doing the work and having a successful image. 84

I've been crunching some numbers lately -
With slightly over 253,000 total DL's 32,600 DL's are Editorial / Travel & Illustrative Editorial DL's - so roughly about 13%. Dollar wise it's about 11% of my total sales. This is on a portfolio of 15k images. About 6800 (45%) of those images are Editorial (5k are Editorial / Travel and 1800 are Illustrative Editorial). I don't have exact numbers but Illustrative Editorial outsell Editorial / Travel (Just looking at August there were 58 Editorial / Travel DL's and 152 Illustrative Editorial DL's) It's clear that Commercial images far outsell Editorial. As for making editorial images commercial by cloning out logs etc I think it's a waste of time. I don't do it so can't say with any authority if it's worth doing. My commercial images are studio images - people - business - food - drink - objects etc. 86

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Stock Upfront Royalty Payment Opportunity« on: June 24, 2021, 10:32 »
Mat,
Something that's not clear - and should have been made very clear at the outset. Will there be a link / page customers can click on that will show all the free images by a given artist? Previous posts have show a free images page by certain artists. That, I think, would have been a deal breaker for most people if it had been stated up front. If this the case I'll be very disappointed in Adobe for not disclosing that information. EDIT: Actually I think I just answered my own question. I see in Gorodenkoff's gallery the images are interspersed throughout his main portfolio, not sure I like this. Unfortunately I was traveling when this first occurred to me and didn't get the chance to really think It over. I probably would have opted out. Sucks for me I guess. 96
Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Stock Upfront Royalty Payment Opportunity« on: June 11, 2021, 08:17 »
Mat,
How will artists know when and which images are chosen? Will there be some sort of notation on the images in our portfolios? Perhaps another filter in the collections? Or will they just disappear from our portfolios? I would think we need some kind of record of the images as to the date there are no longer for sale in our portfolios and the date they are expected back on sale for us. Especially since there is to be three waves of acceptance, it could get confusing and difficult to track. Thanks for you answers. 97

Mat,
Upload is not working with Safari. Cannot drag and drop. Clicking on Browse does not work. I can upload using Chrome or SFTP but none of the functions for uploading work with Safari. I can see the image uploaded with SFTP but cannot complete the operation - none of the buttons are clickable in Safari. 100
