Congrats!! :)
Some people say that there's an increase of sales once you get gold... may be is too soon to tell, but did you see any change?

The winner of the featured assignment gets:

"Prize: Goodies!

Winners will be published in Fray issue 2.
Winners will get a few copies of the book, credit and promotion on the website, and our eternal thanks."

My best earner is the same on SS and IS. On SS it has 345 dls and have earned $103.5; on IS 641 dls and $707.37. I think vectors are more appreciated on IS.

I think this is a very good idea, leaf.
$25 is nothing compared with what we have been learning here. I will do the payment as soon I have money on my PP account!

I can't upload to SS via FTP, is anyone having the same problem or it's just me?
Filezilla gives me this message: "Critical transfer error". I get this message once in a while, but today it is with everything I try to upload.

Sorry, but I agree... there's lots of artifacts on this image. I think you have to learn to see those things, that's why they give you 90 days. when I started, I didn't know eather, but I didn't give up and today they are my best earner. You shouldn't give up on them! :)

Wellcome to microstock Precarious. My advice would be focus on the first 5 of the Big 6 to the right hand. Thats what I generally do and when I have time/am bored and have nothing to shoot or edit I upload to a few others as well. All the best!
I think this is a good idea... I make more than your goal uploading just to the first 4 on the list.

Good luck!  :)

If costs are high, I propose a voluntary donation to keep the site running.

I think this is a good idea!
Thank you for everything, leaf  :)

A professional stock agency cannot work without such content no matter what our personal beliefs may be and especially as this site is used by professionals.

I must agree with Achilles on this one...

I have been requesting a payment the 14th...nothing has happend yet, is this normal?
It is ennoying that the delay given is not respected, if it is 15 days why do they not  write 15 days ? , I need this transfert to myself pay  someone waiting and I have been given myself the delay that is indicated at stockexpert....very ennnoying indeed....

Had the same problem (I use Moneybookers), but the payment arrived a few minutes ago... so maybe yours is on its way.

I think it depends on your skills... I sell a lot web buttons, I don't think is a saturated market... but my backgrounds doesn't sell and on IS they just don't accept them.

Good luck!

General Stock Discussion / Re: Its that possible?

I think it could work on all sites but IS. May be you could ask here: http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=46781&page=1

Good luck!

General - Top Sites / Re: How is January doing for you?
« on: January 15, 2008, 22:55 »
my january is much better than i thought it would be :) IS keeps doing very well... but SS is worse every month since september. StockXpert the same as the last 4 months and DT as well.
i made some valentine's files and one of them is on the most popular illustrations of the last week on IS... i don't know if this is the reason i'm doing so well there, but i'm really really happy!

69
michealo, you have to remember that if you want to go exclusive with IS, there's an issue with DT:

"Contributors are required to keep at least seventy (70%) percent of their portfolio online with Dreamstime.com for a period of at least six (6) months. You may disable all files older than six months from the date of review at any time. You will be allowed to disable a total of thirty (30%) percent of your total images submitted within the past six (6) months. Images that were disabled and then enabled again will be counted as new submissions, no matter of their original upload date."

my 6 months period expires next month, and since IS has been more than 60% of my earnings 3 months in a row... and the bandwidth is an issue where i live... and i want to close my account with SS... i'm going to be exclusive next month!  :)

yesterday was my best day since november in #dls and in $$... hope it keeps this way!  :)

I sell vectors, so will upload only simple ones to SS.
I'm not uploading to DT anymore because I don't like their policies and when they let me, will close my account.
I've just opt out on StockXpert subscription.
