I would stay away from all Ingram sites!

They call it Inactivity fee ($3) and that's the reason I won't use Payoneer in the future.

"20.1 A monthly inactivity fee may be collected if no transactions and no payments have been allocated to Your Card in the last thirty (30) days. If the inactivity fee is assessed, the charge will be recurring each month, unless funds are added and as long as the balance on the Card is more than zero."

May be Matt will give us an answer !

Same here.
I wrote on the other thread they became my favorite agency, but I'm not so sure now!

So is there any reason that I am still seeing some sales @ 25c?

Is there an option in there somewhere that only pays this or is it an error?

Thanks

If your rank is Silver, this is a XS (1 credit) sale.

Maybe they are struggling but 40% less earnings compared to the previous year is ridiculous.
When they made royalties cut they promised 50% increase and what's happening now?
Next month I will drop down from level 3 and will remove my portfolio!

Because our exposure is controlled, changing on the 15th of every month without fail.
I don't know about that and I don't want to use any words that will "trigger" some, but I make the same every month regardless of fluctuations within the month itself. If I don't upload for months, same. If I upload a few hundred, same.

My numbers for July and August (both 31 days) are suspiciously similar with less than $1 difference (about $800 month).

Just amazed a coorporation such as Getty can't fufill its obligations to its contributors and fails to deliver OUR earnings at THEIR designated timeframes - afterall we are their bread and butter no?

And I guess no official comment (in this day of social media, communications i.e. instant) about what is happening?

* really!

Maybe getting 85% is not enough for them to do things properly.

They want us on the lowest contributor level

Bring back the different prices for different image sizes. GL lost most of it's customers who don't need big size images.

More than 30% less for June compared to the previous 3 months. Still over $100 but they've changed something and I don't like it. If I fall beneath my current level I will remove my portfolio! I'm tired of their commission cuts and empty promises!

DepositPhotos / Re: Photo sales compared to Shutterstock
« on: June 19, 2018, 16:24 »
Plus DepositPhotos is a shady agency with questionable ethics.

Nope not anymore, that was ages back. Nothing wrong with them now. They sell well at times but not comparing to SS.

What makes you so sure? I don't trust them at all and I don't upload there anymore!
But for example On demand XL sale paying Silver contributor just $0,32!? What the f**k is this?

They are the middleman you don't need. I'm still waiting for my images to be removed. Waste of time and effort.

So Canva removed 80% of my approved images and now they'll get tons of similar "unwanted" images through IS.
BAD BAD NEWS!

What? Can you elaborate what happened? How they just remove your images? This is scary.

Few years ago they decided to remove a lot of previously approved images, because they don't need them anymore! Even images with a lot of sales have been deleted! It was not just me, many contributors complained about it here on MSG.

Adobe Stock / Re: what are "Subscription X" downloads?
« on: March 16, 2018, 12:21 »
EL on Adobe is 50 credits no matter what price you put on FT. You get 33% of 50 = 16.5 - 30% tax = 11.55.

Are you sure? Mat said at this other thread that EL-s are 79.99, so which one is it now?
http://www.microstockgroup.com/31290/31290/msg508528/#msg508528

Hmm, I just checked and the EL price really is 79.99. I'm pretty sure there was some info about the 50 credits EL price but can't find it right now.
The price of these sales is obviously 50 credits. Last week I had 3 of those sales 16.5 - 5% tax = 15.68

Adobe Stock / Re: what are "Subscription X" downloads?
« on: March 16, 2018, 11:39 »
question to Mat:

I got 2x 11.55 of those x subscription sales last few days

It's nice to finally see some larger sales but how can I get 11.55 for extended licence on adobe?

30% of 79 is 23.7

23.7 - 30% tax withholding is 16.5

looks like you took tax withholding 2 times because:

16.55 - another 30% tax withhold is about 11.55

how can this be?
This is not a normal extended license. Check your stat again and you will see that the buyer downloaded the same image 3 times (I don't know why).
My two images were not downloaded before still the stat shows three dls, so these 16.5 (- tax) credits were payed for 3 dls (see my second image).

Either it is some promotional package or something worse.  I don't complain because 16.5: 3= 5.5 is still better than no dl. However I would like to know what is happening.

Those 2 sales are from 2 different images (not the same image), I am using fotolia site/interface and one image is sold only once and other it says it was 3 downloads(like you said):

License type Subscription XXL
Download price 1 download
Credits earned 11.55

Problem is that it looks like they are taking 30% tax withhold on adobe, and then again on fotolia site because it is only way for 30% of 79.99 dollars to become 11.55 (I explained in my first post).

EL on Adobe is 50 credits no matter what price you put on FT. You get 33% of 50 = 16.5 - 30% tax = 11.55.

I assume it is this now from what people are saying.

0 1,999 Level 1
30%
$0.216

2,000 4,999 Level 2
40%
$0.288

Well, I'm at 1400 and level 2.

I think the new levels are:

0 999 Level 1
30%
$0.216

1,000 4,999 Level 2
40%
$0.288

There's no winners among contributors! I'm on level 3 now and will keep the same commissions, but won't upload new images because I hate greedy agencies.  >:(

VideoBlocks / Re: SB tries the 'ole "partner sales" game

I'm definitely opt-out!
I was very suspicious from the beginning of SB because of the Graphicstocks policy. They already started with the bulls***s. I don't expect nothing good from them and even plan to remove my portfolio!

122
They rejected many of my images for wrong keywords in the last year or so. But I have about 99% acceptance rate on more than 20 agencies. So nothing's wrong with my keywords, which BTW I'm choosing very carefully. If they think I will keyword my images differently especially for them, they are out of their mind. And on top of this they still pay me $0.25 for subs after 6000 sales. What a joke!

I also just got payment, a little bit early isnt it?

It's never too early to get our money for the sales from the previous month  ;)
BTW it's my WMY!

124
Selling all image sizes for the same price is their biggest mistake IMO.

This thread is quite old but it's the most recent about the problem with Paypal's automatic currency conversion.
Today was my first time I found out this greedy policy of PP. When I made a search I found many people complaining about the same for few years. I don't know why this never happened before with my account until today.
As far as I understood there is no way to avoid it. When I withdraw my money they convert them to my local currency on an extremely bad conversion rate. I'm losing a lot of hard earned money!  >:(
Unfortunately Payoneer is not very different.
I need other less greedy payment processor.

If you don't think the service PayPal provides has any value, don't use them. Most agencies can and will make payments by cheque.

It sounds to me though, like you want PayPal to provide this useful service but get nothing for it. The only fees PayPal charges me for their convenient payment method is in the conversion of funds from US to Canadian. I still get a nice bonus on the exchange rate and PayPal makes a few bucks which is pretty fair really. Makes me wonder who the greedy one is.

So for 10 years Paypal were happy to serve me for $2.50 on every $500 I withdraw and now they decided it's not enough and they should take 7 times more?!
I don't care if you want to give them your money, but I won't give them mine!
