https://submit.shutterstock.com/earnings/top-performers/

Has anyone kept link to the old page? I hope it is still there. New page does not allow to choose new images first.

Why should we have the possibility to put new image first in a page about top performers??

Because this was the only way to see the performance of new images in order by upload date. It was very helpful for me and a lot of contributors in my country shared in a forum they are not happy with this change too.
I can't understand how hard is SS to give us the opportunity to sort images by: Total Earnings, Total Downloads and Upload Date

Hmm, they are collections of people with the only and unique goal to make the most possible money in the less possible time.
They are called shareholders

Not really sure where this is going... Shareholders don't get to decide how the earning table design looks like.

Or what new pay scheme is going to be tested on us. I'm a shareholder of a number of stocks and they don't ask me much except about what the board should do. Certainly now how to market or run the business.

Time to stop blaming web design, the search, reviews, spam, or falling sales on shareholders. IT people don't just change things, they are asked to make changes.

The cause is management incompetence in the big tower.

I was wondering why you are not upset with the most of the new changes at SS! Now I know...

My Earnings Page just got back to the old version, which is much much better! I hope they don't change it because 99% of contributors don't like the new one!

$0.35-30%=$0.245 in my case, so I'm out of there! This is less than the $0.28 from IS, the absolute bottom I swallowed but for 20 times bigger volume of sales.
I don't contribute to any other agency withholding tax from every single sale!

Fairplay, can I ask which agency your company started to use? Very curious ... Stocksy?

"Yes and the same here from a daily 150-200 to a lousy 50-60. dont ask me if I intend to upload. This is almost a carbon copy of what Istock did some years back and it didnt end well."

About the same numbers here!  >:(
They are playing their greedy game and don't care losing old contributors! But they are losing buyers too! From 2017 our company stopped buying content from SS because of their new policy against contributors and their disasterous search engine!
I hope other SS buyers start buying from other more contributor friendly and fair agencies!

You must send an e-mail and wait 3 months.
They should pay you the remaining royalties.

158
The same here with my last two payouts. They paid me two months later after many unresponded e-mails. First they wait one or two months to clear the royalties and then another two months to send the payment (but only if you keep sending e-mails and threaten them). After the second time I removed my portfolio. They were under 1% of my stock income and don't deserve my time and nerves at all.
Not paying the contributors on time is the worst mistake an agency could do!
So don't support them with uploads! We should get rid of the bad apples in the stock industry!

With almost the same amount I'm making 3000-4000 sales/month at SS.

And how many sales at IndivStock? Nil or few?

One sale every other month.

Don't lose your time with Indivstock! More than a year was enough for me to realize they don't worth...

...with how many images there?

With almost the same amount I'm making 3000-4000 sales/month at SS.
After more than a year they have the grand total of 110000 images and 550 happy customers!? Too slow, too late...
Please give me some details about your big portfolio success story at Indivstock!?

Enough is enough! It was very hard for me to swallow $0.28/subs sales, but I was afraid to lose 20% of my income! With today's "positive" news I've reached my breaking point! I'm out of there!
On top of everything else I recieved 8 refunds (so far) today for $0.15; $0.18; $0.24; $0.59 (at 17%)! I don't even knew they are paying me so small commissions!
I just started to delete my files (it's working)! I'll leave my empty account just in case some real professionals buy IS and I decide to work with them!

The prices on VH are too low! There's no way for me to upload any footage there!
There are contributors who think they will outsmart others who don't support agencies with low prices. But in reality they are responsible for undervaluing the work of all contributors and I don't have any respect to them.
danr13, maybe VH are making you a favor when they reject your clips and you will have more sales on the other agencies with higher prices (royalties)!

I would be very glad if the default setting in My Statistics is "How many credits have I earned?" instead of "How many of my files have been viewed?"!

So when Author Driven Pricing is implemented on Video, and I increase my prices from $8 to $50... are you saying that instead of making $2000 a month, I'll be making $12,500 instead? Should I go for $250 per clip and sit back as $62,500 comes rolling into my account every month?

In fact, if the general consensus is that clients will pay whatever, everyone should put their prices up, quality doesn't really matter that much when it comes to pricing, and high prices won't reduce in less sales... maybe I should go for $2500 a clip. $7.5m a year would be pretty sweet. I'll get on it!

If you increase your prices form $8 to $50 you won't make $12500, but it's very possible to make $2050 or more with less sales! Isn't it good enough reason to do it?

Colourbox removed "his" portfolio!
I wish all agencies can find identical images in different contributor portfolios and don't even approve them!

"Dear ***********,

Thank you for your mail and informations.

All material by the supplier in question has been removed.

We will, of course, take correct measures and we will  make sure that the supplier can not sell either images nor vectors on our site again.

Thank you for making us aware of this problem.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock earnings in July....
« on: August 01, 2016, 16:41 »
Worst month since Dec 2012!
Big sudden drop in July 2016, almost 30% less $$$ than June 2016!
There's no natural reason for this! I'm sure SS did some drastic change which resulted in such a great loss of income for most of the contributors in top earning tier!  >:(

170
About 200 of my images are in the free section!  >:(
I don't want to give my images for free!!!
That's not going to happen if the default setting was NO!
Now I will delete those images and will never upload them to FT!

171
These images are the same: 101848929, 101849124, 102031978, 102032155, 102032162

« on: February 02, 2016, 15:00 »
Thank for the response. But this is not the same problem we had last week. Some of the downloads are missing in the earnings page, which are recorded in the downloads page. How is yours?

Same here!
About 30% of my earnings on February 01, 2016 are missing in the earnings page.

173
I'm afraid the next SS step will be to push low tier contributors up in the search!

The sales are 90% subs and nonexclusives earn miserable $0.28! No new uploads from me!

175
Same problem here! I am using Avast!
Can't understand why should I disable my antivirus software in order to use Stocksubmitter?
