General Stock Discussion / Re: Clipdealer No Payment
« on: February 10, 2020, 09:41 »
I'm still waiting for my payment since July 2019. They don't reply to my e-mails and refuse to delete my images. I even can't delete my images one by one. So I started to delete my keywords but they appear again after some time.
They literally hijacked my portfolio and keep all the money from the sales for themselves.
Clipdealer is a SCAM! Stay away!

"How is the payment per download calculated?

This is how your commission from premium subscriptions would work:

At the end of each day, we would calculate the total amount of subscription fees and calculate the "per diem" subscription amount. Then we would calculate the total number of downloads.

The total daily subscription average would be divided by the number of downloads to calculate the "per illustration" price for that day. That number would be multiplied by 0.5 to calculate the 50% rate. The price per illustration might change on a daily basis, according to our calculations.

Can I deactivate my account?

Yes as a contributor you can deactivate your account whenever you want but just be aware that once you deactivate your account the content published will still be active at Freepik for minimum 1 year and all payments will be deactivated with the account."

Cheap unlimited downloads!  >:(
We should stay away from such sites!

Flat line

It was better when they show us the Lifetime and Weekly positions on the same page.

There are agency ( ClipDealer ) on the list who refuse to pay contributor's royalties and don't reply to the e-mails sent for months!
They don't deserve to get any publicity to help them steal more of the hard earned money from more and more contributors!

How long do you wait for payment?

I have payment request from 3th of August and still wait, sent a couple of emails - no response. They have this very bad practice to delay payments and to not respond emails, but finally always paying. This is my experience, delays and no responses, but payment received.

July
I also ordered them to delete my portfolio but it's still there. I'm stuck with these thieves.

This Unlimited Subs Plan is much worse than Dollar Photo Club and I'm surprised I don't see an avalanche of angry comment from contributors.
I'm glad they have only a small fraction of my portfolio and it will be relatively easy for me to delete it.

VideoBlocks / Re: Storyblocks - any signs of life?
« on: August 16, 2019, 11:35 »
I received a payout for my all time 9 image sales.
The problem is they withheld 30% instead of 5% despite they have my two tax forms one from 2017 and one from few months ago!
Schmucks  >:(

BTW CC Trans. Fees are from the time they were paying 100% royalties.

« on: July 24, 2019, 01:33 »
We all know it's July and that's why we compare our earnings with the same month from the previous years!
It's getting worse every year after 2014 for me.

The thread is about Dreamstime! Your payment is from Deposit where the limit is $50.

Mines even more uppy-downy! If there is a cap then it fluctuates wildly!

Images yes  ~ Not for video :D

Yeah I mean it just wouldn't make sense for there to be a cap on video earnings. But images... it's perfectly clear why they cap them and not video.

Yes it's clear for the most of us, but Brightontl is "very happy that SS algorithm has a cap system" because his video portfolio probably is not capped.
Brightontl, SS don't need to cap video because they pay all contributors 30%. But if you do images there's a very big % difference between the contributor levels and they want to keep these money for themselves.
And I'm sure they don't try to make contributors happy. Because how to be happy if I work harder and harder, to produce more and more, better and better images and they artificially stopped my progress and even don't care if my income falls from $3000 to $700!
That's why many "people here gets so heated up about the "cap" theory"!!! Capisce?

Alamy.com / Re: Have sales plummeted for all or just me?
« on: May 23, 2019, 07:41 »
My Alamy sales almost disappeared and I decided to make a search for my images.
I found my whole older portfolio duplicated from Panthermedia.
Why they even accept duplicates when they are already online uploaded by the original contributor.
I don't upload to Panthermedia for last few years, but now I will close my account.

March - 110 downloads 80$
April - 205 downloads 20$  >:( >:( >:(
Wow, why? That rpd is super low

Might be all those 1 China downloads.  Wish I could OPT OUT.

I wonder why we get $0.01 when the minimum should be $0.02?!
I'm glad they don't have my images from the last several years!

Requesting opt-out! I don't care about Canva at all anymore!

Canva / Re: How are the earnings going?
« on: April 11, 2019, 15:36 »
Huge drop in sales!
They don't care about us contributors and our income. I won't upload new images anymore. It's not worth it for few more bucks.

Being exclusive with Pond 5 will never make up for the loss of revenue from Shutterstock and Adobe.

Their Exclusive Program is just smoke and mirrors to hide their 20% revenue cut.

I wish all those joining the program best of luck. But I'm out.
That's exactly what I think too.
The situation is Win-Win for Pond5 (bigger cut from non-exclusive sales and more exclusive files in their collection), and Lose-Lose for contributors (exclusives will make less compared to selling the same files on the few biggest agencies and non-exclusives will make 20% less).

All these sites are bad, but don't put links in the forum because you help them with the SEO.

BTW I receive the e-mail at the middle of the next day (12:00).
It's too late and to be honest I don't need it at all.

73
Very disappointing month, much more sales (+70) but almost the same earnings (+$6) compared to January 2019.
My RPD on Getty ($0.55) is much lower than on SS ($0.69).
Many $0.15 Canva sales.

Less email checking, sounds good to me!

... and more refreshing the site! :P

Don't worry, it's normal. The next week you will receive payment of the "missing" royalties from the previous month/s.
