« on: April 27, 2015, 15:46 »
stop uploading to dp, who cares if it is one month.

127
if you sort by  new yuri istock portfolio , first 10 pages are very average photos and extremly similar. boring, not a work by a pro.

128
Yestarday was again  little lower.
more reasons could be problem:
1. too much upload ( too many contributors on this boat ( also new))
2. subs on IS
3. new subscriptions plans
4. in march you buy images to finish projects  before summer, maybe
5. customers already have enough old images

129
i have low sales last two weeks, , but its getting better, this week could be better, we see how much od will be today

130
they are ok, except this one, it is too dark, you have luck with this one

i can breathe now.

motive or story of image, sorry english is not my first language.

for acceptance, that should at least be with face and very unique smile.

133
i always spend one hour for one photo, first make scene, shooting about half hour, editing, keywording

goal is to earn 10$ with every image at least, in 80% im successful

first time after one year i got reject 5/5 , all images was same aperture, same time, same work, they were office work, last 1000 was ok, not it is not anymore.

can i join to rejection club?

it is depressing, i spend 8 hours for this 5 images.

Hi, Cesar, You can join any "rejection club", but not mine.
My members can spent max 2-5 minutes for finishing each photo, which will then bring 30 cents...
8 hours for 5 photos?
Wow, this photos are good for Smithsonian Museum or some Modern art gallery,
but not for our 30 cents or one $ clubs.
 ;) twice

noise, fringing, sharpness

motiv is ok , but not for best work ever.

you will be rejected.

I would sort your portfolio a bit more.
This one is very good. Its fun, child, happy, movement, strong colors. (but maybe technical problems rejection  :P)

This one (my opinion) is a reason for a rejection. Whats the story behind?
Is this a bad feeling? sad? I do not see fun, why is the background black? Is the child lonely?
The story is not 100%. It`s 50% happy and 50% sad. Confusing..

a lot of noise , not enough detail

I finally got my first bunch of crazy:
Focus--Subject is blurry, too soft, or out of focus when viewed at full resolution.
Noise--Image contains excessive noise, grain, artifacts and/or is poorly rasterized.

Here's a 100% crop of one of the centers where the center of focus is/should be:

i stoped uploading landscapes on ss, they become like fotolia, they reject, they think or they know landscape is waste of space, computer index,...

if i were reviewer i would also reject landscape like this for focus, even it is perfect image. yours is better then perfect.

Rejected for focus

me too, 0.19$, are they joking?

I've got one $0.19 [????!!!]
0.19?? If it continues like that we will have to give money together with our images

143

Thanks for the info. I must say I'm completely shocked that a reputable microstock agency would reject images that could make them a lot of money!

Fotolia is nor reputable, wrong word.  i think u need diffrent expression.

« on: March 11, 2015, 14:13 »
sales are really strong on ss, they are 10% more then january, but sales are lower 10%-15% from thursday, today will be ok because of OD

i dont have huge sods whole february and march, 90$ SOD was 3 months ago.

subs are stronger and stronger on ss

146
$83,605,000 for 1000 contributors with year income 83.000$

65.000 contributors have ss?

All time RPD 53c,  This year RPD 63c
Just to give another statistic

my rpd is 0.37, that is lower then subs on SS!

0.62 is misinformation

No, no and no!, this is the worst agency , 90% is subs for 0.30$,10% is credit sales for 0.44$, never and never  enterprise license, credit sale are rare like panda.
...

Well, I am not saying that I like DP. However, I don't like misinformation.

Here is RPD (return per download) from my portfolio: 0.62 at DP which is higher than FT (0.49), and almost the same as SS. For reference: 123RF 0.94, DT 1.44. This is just microstock ...

Otherwise, I agree. Do not upload to DP! Or even better. Do not upload to any other stock agency. We don't need more competition.
 :)

50$ on DP now  or half year later 100$ all the time more on SS?

stop upload to deposit.

$ today, $ tomorrow...
Every 50$ payout is ok for me.
100% agree with dook.
